I agree with whoever said they don't like skulls - me either, but yours are the exception to the rule - they are gorgeous and you make it look so easy!... now I need to look for some stones.
Oh, how gorgeous! I have to make some myself! I love sugar skull! The skull I made this week: http://howling-liz.blogspot.nl/2012/10/the-sugar-skull-is-finished.html
These are fabulous!! Love them!! I have a collection of rocks that I've been wanting to paint but just have been a bit timid to get started. I think this is the project to get me started! Thanks for the brilliant idea!

Alisha, I just screamed out loud when I saw your skulls! I made something very similar in August with stones I collected at the Baltic Sea. This is too funny! Yours can come over for a beer if they want to. Mine are always up for a party. So, skulls...meet your German cousins! :-)
Hi Alisa, I absolutely love these! I am getting married in January 2016 and would love to paint my own rocks for a sort of day of the dead wedding. What type of paint did you use for these. Any recommendations?

I would really like to know what kind of paint you used - these are amazing and I'd like to try this with my 7th graders....
