flower power online class giveaway!

My next online class Flower Power starts at the end of this month and today I am giving away 10 free spots!

Leave me a comment and tell me your favorite flower!
I'll draw 10 names and announce the winners over the weekend.

class goes live May 23rd
$30.00

I'm obsessed with flowers, they are colorful, beautiful, full of details and are the perfect inspiration for any creative medium. I love flowers so much that I decided to dedicate an entire class to flowers! From finding inspiration to drawing to doodling to painting, (even a little bit of crafting) Flower Power is a fun little class that will focus on using flowers and all things floral as your subject matter.

Flower Power is a "mini class". It is structured into 3 large lessons.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SUPPLIES: This class like all of my classes, does NOT have a required supply list. Instead I will be sharing the supplies that I like to use and then give you a variety of options and inspiration to use supplies that work best for your process and your budget.

It would be a lily for me. It's full of beauty, elegance, wonderful color, juicy deliciousness . . . what's not to love? Love your classes too!

Greetings from the dustbowl of Amarillo, Texas! We have had a blustery spring, witnessing a brown sky amidst dust storms over five different occasions. We are aching for sun, flowers, beauty, color, refreshment! Weeks ago, my 73 year old mom told me she wanted to start painting again for herself. Then unexpectedly on Monday, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I'd love to surprise her with the flower power class to encourage her to keep living life amidst the terrible inconvenience and fright of her diagnosis. I think it would give her just the boost she needs to jump in and create!
Thanks for offering the giveaway!

It's gotta be a peony because they have a way of taking my breath away but I love the contrast in anemones and the simplicity of a daisy!

Hope I'm not too late for this! :O

I have many favourite flowers, but I like poppies, forget-me-nots, and moss roses quite a bit.

I love almond and cherry blossom flowers. I love all flowers that are out there, caressing our senses in public spaces, yet we can't and won't really buy them, because they are at their most beautiful when they are alive on the trees, not in vases.

I love tulips and irises the most but adore most every flower (strangely not a fan of roses). Would love to win your class

Even though there's 630 comments, I'm going to give it a shot. My favorite flower is Chrysanthemum, because it was my grandmothers favorite. My Grandmother was my favorite :) Her memories linger like the scent of a fresh flower in the breeze. Thank You for always inspiring sooo many people with your posts!

Chrissy T. said...

Any flower you draw! But if I'd have to choose it would be a Gerbera Daisy in colors of red, yellow, orange, pink & a peony!

The rose is a classic and timeless. It can depict vintage along with being very contemporary. Who doesn't like receiving roses?

The fragrant gardenia is my favorite. Thanks for asking! I like the layering of the ivory and snow-white petals with their waxy velvet texture. Also, the gardenia has the greatest greens in its leaves and stems!

Hi Alisa !!!
I actually love many kinds of flowers but I really adore tulips !! I like looking at them opening their petals slowly ! Thanks for that giveaway : I cross my fingers !!!!

swimyellowduck said...

The lovely gardenia is my favorite. It's the two in one factor - scent and beauty! Note: I have left more than one comment because I am a newbie at this and inadvertently posted my prior comment, anonymously, so I am posting again.

Kate said...

Lilacs! They are so fleeting, which probably adds to their intrigue!

Marit said...

If it comes down to flowers then I am a huge sucker. Flowers are one of my favorite things to photograph. It is hard to pick just one favorite but I will go with tulips this time. Specially when there is a whole bunch of them.

Dahlias are great, gorgeous colors, in your face size, and different shapes.

It is probably too late (been a busy week and I've been reading blogs via my phone) but my favorite flowers are violets.

Unknown said...

Either peonies or poppies!

Marieke said...

Snowdrops are my favorite. I have lots in my garden!

Agata – sierysuje.pl said...

Lily of the valley!

Shanda said...

At this time Peonies are my favorite. They are rich in color and full and they smell wonderful. It's hard to pick a favorite for all time. My favorite flower can change with a season or a particular emotion I am feeling at during a particular time in my life. But for today it is a Peony.

A rose is a rose and always will be the one for me.

I love flowers! For their colors and the cheer they bring just by being there...If I was asked to choose a single favorite flower, I would say "GERBERA"! A yellow gerbera can lift your mood any time any day!
Would absolutely love to be in your online class!
P.S. I loved your statement wall. I am from India and I loved how you have incorporated Black & White "Jaipuri" print pillows into your decor.

I think my favorite flower is the poppy. Happy name, happy flower.

I adore gerberas, they are so vivid in color and makes a nice decoration no matter if there's just one or many in a vase or pot. I like how they stand proud, like small colorful suns on sticks :)
