It is the wonderful, breathtaking aroma of gardenias. my wedding bouquet; the glorious shrub in my front yard in Virginia; the pots on the back patio during the summer in Wichita and the small leafy plant full of buds and promise in my condo living room.

Unknown said...

It is so difficult to choose a favorite, but I think the wild flowers that bloom every year here along the roadside...the Texas bluebonnets and the Indian paintbrush, with bright reds, blues, whites, and a signal Spring is around the corner. It is truly amazing that something so beautiful can pop up and add so much joy, and it only needs water to flourish. No one has gone in and manipulated or improved them, they are true wild flower beauties all on their own.
