Lifetime membership is an awesome opportunity thank you for the chance. I've always admired how open you are sharing your love for creating it's one of the main things that keeps me coming back! Wow! What a great chance! I've wanted to learn more about using masking fluid. I bought some for the first time but have been nervous to try it!
You are very generous to do that! Especially because its how you make your living. My Hubby and I own our own business so I know how hard it can be to make a living! A new technique; I think learning how to find my own style of making art, putting my own touch on it. I find it hard to do that. Thanks for the best giveaway of all!
This is an incredible giveaway, thank you! Something that I've been working on lately is composition and how to fill a page. I've been trying to find a balance between adding the colors that I love and having white space on the page. I recently signed up for your Layers class and am loving watching you work through your pages, it has been a huge help!
I'm very interested in learning wood burning! I love the tabletop you did a while ago. Happy birthday week!
lately I've really been into calligraphy and hand lettering, the give and take between being really controlled and precise with calligraphy, and being loose and expressive with lettering.
You have just about my favorite blog...don't know if Canadians are eligible for your giveaway, but I'd love to win free classes..you have given me so many ideas..
As a retiree who loves to 'Make' - from crocheted hats to jewelry to learning new uses for drawing and painting materials, I couldn't afford to do anything but read your blog and wish that I could buy all the wonderful tools you talk about..still, I find that by judicious shopping, I can and do find alternatives and have enjoyed learning new things..it keeps me feeling young mentally to be creative, to never repeat myself but to grow from doing..thanks so much for your wonderful energy.
The new thing I am going to learn by end of summer is how to make hypertufa containers... then how to stretch that knowledge to make unique creations and/or ways to decorate them.
Wow, that's really generous of you! I'd love to learn more on simple illustration, how to draw people, animals.. also, brush pen calligraphy would be great!
This is amazing! You are so generous! I'm trying to launch a stay-at-home creative career and something like this would definitely keep me motivated!

Thanks for offering such a fantastic giveaway. I would like to learn more about incorporating photography into my art journaling practice. I'm not a scrapbooker, but I admire the documentation of scrapbooking...I just dont like the crafty look, so I am looking for strategies that tell my story but look more artistic rather than crafty...Thanks!
I would love to learn more about book arts! Book making, designing, all of it! I hope you've had a wonderful birthday week so far!
I love this site and the creative flair you bring projects large and small. I'm an art teacher, but I rarely have time to complete any of my own project due to work and family commitments. Being able to take one of your classes here and there would be great! I'm very interested in mixed media projects and anything sculptural.
I need to learn how to be more adventurous with color!
I have watched your Sew Wild video several times and keep learning from it. At the moment, I am working on learning to applique. It is taking my patience! Ha Ha

I would love to learn calligraphy...I have all the supplies now, just need to devote the time!
Happy birthday! I would love to learn different ways of using watercolors and gouache. Thanks for the giveaway!
I love mixed media - I do a lot of metal sculpting (welding) love to mix media but this is an only outdoor/garage activity. I am starting to get into painting with acrylic and sharpies - I really want to learn more about the shading process. You do such a great job. I have practiced with paint pencils and water pens and do not seem to have the process down. Happy Day.
So exciting, and I hope your Birthday has been wonderful! I would love to be less intimidated to do larger scale pieces and learn more about what inspires your color palettes and combinations.
I really want to learn more about mixing watercolor paints!
Wow! What an incredible opportunity! I would love to see more on abstraction. (I LOVED that class!) I'm always on the lookout for ways to stay inspired when life is plotting against my art. I think your themed classes are a lot of fun (food, magical creatures). The more wacky and bizarre the better!

What a great giveaway, thanks! I'd love to learn more about sketching!
This is an amazing giveaway!!!!! I'm super excited for your upcoming class on birds! I've become obsessed with them since moving out here to Oregon. I'm even getting a few tattoo'd on my arm along with more beautiful flowers.
I want to combine the art of henna tattoo with doodling. My ultimate project is to create a messy background (which I have got the technique from your online course, thanks for the inspiration!) and do a doodle/henna art on it using paint pens.
Oh wow! Giveaway of a lifetime here! :D
Creative things? Well more about painting in general. I've started watercolor painting but I'm having a tough time getting the hang of it. Also drawing people. I've gotten decent at animals. But people are so hard!
This giveaway would be such a blessing to those that receive it! I love to draw and paint, but the one thing I struggle with is perspective. I would love to learn how to add perspective... a landscape and learning how to make the foreground and background so it looks more realistic.

PS: WHen i delete and added back the comment, i think its adding twice. I am not sure about that. Sorry about that
Happy Birthday Alisa! I love your classes! I would love to learn more about working with clay - the kind that air dries or bakes in the oven. I have two blocks of clay in my stash that I haven't gotten into yet, and I'd love to learn about some of your techniques. Thank you Alisa!

Thanks for such a fun week of giveaways. Happiest of birthdays to you.
WOW! That is so amazing! This would be a dream come true! Life time access! I love so many things in art making, sometimes it is hard to focus on just one! Right now, I have made a commitment to learn to draw the face, and portraits. A most Happy Birthday Week to you - Alisa!
I think....no! I know....I would literally die of sheer happiness if I were to actually win this giveaway!! Thanks for the awesome opportunity Alisa!!! Happy Birthday! Mine is Saturday. I want to expand on my apparel sewing to the next level and include surface design like painting and other embelishments only fabrics. Your classes would be wonderful learning and inspiration. Thank you!
I am 72 years old and have recently been getting back into my art. (I painted when I was much younger, then had a full time job which took away any playtime I had. Then my husband died just 2 years after I retired, upending everything in my life for a period of time.) I love using watercolors especially and would like to learn how to really loosen up (I used to paint "tight" flowers, etc.). I would particularly like to learn how to draw and paint portraits, as I so want to do one of my beautiful grandson, who was adopted from S. Korea. I just want to keep on learning for as long as God grants me life! I love your work, Alisa, and your inspiring blog. I was working with one of your classes last night - You, Me and the Sea - and I am loving it. :)
I loved your watercolor class that I took. That is my favorite medium right now. Any kind of a class using that would be great. I don't know how to pick!
Alisa, this is such a generous and fabulous giveaway!! I hope your birthday week has been fabulous, too!! I am dabbling in watercolor, and would like to add pen and ink to my skills.
Wow! What an amazing give away. Thank you so much for your generosity. What fun! I'd love to learn more about working with pastels, and other soft media. I'm always a fan of a crisp line and want to work outside my comfort zone! Have a fabulous birthday weekend!
How exciting!! I would love to learn more about mixed media and working on large scale pieces. Also, daily practice for art...I always have the best intentions but it's hard actually carving out the time. Thank you for the generous give away!!
What an awesome giveaway! I love the style of your work. Over the last couple years, I have spent more time dabbling drawing and sketching and I think I have improved. I am still intimidated by paint, and would love to learn to work with bright bold colors more confidently. mer.marty@yahoo.com
Wow what a great birthday present to us! I have taken a couple of your classes and love them! I would love to learn how to carve my own stamps and bind my own art journals, also a little more about painting on fabric. Hope you enjoyed your birthday week!

What a great giveaway!
I'd like to learn about collage.
Happy birthday!
Amber
I'm a work-from-home, homeschooling mom of 5 who, after art school, promptly stopped making art! I've done two of your fantastic classes already and LOVED them both. Now that I'm making art-making a priority (alongside family and work), I'm into watercolor florals, hand lettering, and just yesterday (lol) decided I'd like to explore watercolor fashion illustration. Oh and coloring pages!
Many, many more beautiful, creative years to you--Happy Birthday!
I've always wanted to learn printmaking. I had the chance in college but never took the opportunity. I think now is a great time to learn.
I would like to explore encaustic painting.
I am trying to learn how to use oil pastels. I have two younglings and need a medium I can leave in the middle of. I would love to learn more about how to do a project with my kids!
I have followed your blog for years and have taken many of your on line classes. In fact I watched your earliest on line classes and you helped me learn contrast, color and having fun while painting. I have a lot of painted cloth and papers. I am interested in learning how to turn them into textiles. I am starting to sew onto the surface of my painted cloth and make unique bags, journals etc. I just know that you would do this Alisa style and I want to see that.
Thank you for sharing you birthday with all of us.
I would love to get more comfortable with acrylics.

Dear Alicia, thank you so much for sharing you creativity! I'm trying to live by : "Make something...anything...everyday!" It's my "mantra"! I was deeply touched by your online class "ode to nature". Maybe a "ode to nature No.2"?!

Happy birthday :) I really like to learn urban sketching.
Happy birthday :) I really like to learn urban sketching.
Hola! My name is Ela Maldonado. I am from Caracas Venezuela. I have a brand called Ciudadela Creativa (@ciudadela_ela ciudadelacreativa.wordpress.com) that is my world. I reuse materials and take the "ugly" side of my chaotic city and expose it as beautiful. Here, we do not have access to online shopping...(long political talk) and I would LOVE to have free access to your classes. It is impossible for me to buy them!!!
Thank you so much for doing this, Alisa! I'm always looking to expand my repertoire of painting and art journaling techniques!
j'aimerais que tu nous apprennes à peindre le ciel, la mer et la forêt!
I am interested in learning about watercolor painting. I find that my personality (strong type A) makes me have a difficult time with such a free flowing art form. I prefer structured line drawings but I also find myself craving the relaxed nature of watercolor! Thank you for this amazing opportunity!!
Happy Birthday from England Alisa!
Wow, that has got to be the best giveaway ever!
I would love to learn how to use markers to get the best effects with colour matching and shading.
Lynne
What an amazing gift! Thanks for sharing!!! I have recently seen a lot of alcohol ink paintings that are just amazing! I have no idea where to start to learn about those but they look fantastic :D Also weaving has caught my eye as well. How fantastic would it be to weave a rug for a living room?! yum!
I found your site through Patti Palmer at Deep Space Sparkle - Oh my! I instantly fell in love. Your online classes look like so much fun! I'd love to learn new tips, tricks, and techniques for the art classes I teach at the Amarillo Museum of Art. We have art camps coming up, and I've been striving to find some neat, new techniques to use with the kids.. I would be thrilled to have access to them all! Thank you :)
Love love love your creative thinking 👍🏻 I have learnt so much from your photography and all your art classes - you are a very inspired lady! Thank you!
My suggestion would be mosaics in some form - using coloured glass in your pottery and incorporating your painting style in there somewhere.
P.S. (I am 100% envious of your logo! It's to die for!)
P.S. (I am 100% envious of your logo! It's to die for!)
You are joking...what an amazing prize. I loved "You, Me and the Sea' and would love to do more sketching classes, especially travel sketching as I find taking time to sit down to draw makes you really look closely and take in the environment more. However, Im a bit shy pulling out a sketchbook and drawing in public. I guess I'm afraid someone will see my drawing and think it's rubbish!!
Love to learn more book binding techniques and how to draw/paint faces. Warm wishes on the celebration of your birth & thank you for offering these fabulous give aways & sale prices for your online classes!!
I would just like to paint & draw better. I really need classes!

Hi, Alisa. I have been taking a local class that was an introduction to several crafts. We finished up last night with alcohol inks. I would love to learn more about using these. And watercolors! I have played with them but don't feel comfortable. How about more ideas on crafting with kids? I need ideas to keep my grandkids away from iPads and tablets. Love your classes and your art style!!

For some time I've been thinking about a sketch every day, I really think it would be good for me, but right now my life seems too scattered for that. This year I do a lot of knitting(something new with every project), watercolors, photography, and making wooden spoons. Well maybe that's enough! ☺

Dear Alisa,at first let me wish you a very happy birthday. I have not been a subscriber to your blog veeery long, but since I have, I have start d to love it. Your creativity, your way to express yourself... It is a huge inspiration to me. I do not consider myself an artist, however I love to create original handmade bijoux, I love refashion and am learning to sew. I also like taking pictures, though only on my smartphone. The one thing that is drawing me for a very long time, yet I do not know where to and maybe am a bit afraid to start, is painting and drawing. For this, any of your classes would be a treat, as I love how you draw and paint... But I would love to learn to draw portraits, animals an landscapes the most.
An incredible opportunity. I found my creativity again with the Mandala class, and I would love to start art journaling. Happy Birthday again, Alisa. I hope it has been a wonderful one. = )
Art journaling fascinates me. Also I think everything you do is beautifu. So I would love anything you teach. Also as a sewer I am interested in you atypical sewing projects. Thanks for the give away. jessica.breidinger@yahoo.com
What a great giveaway. I love the process of learning almost as much as the skill learned. There is something so gratifying in moving from novice to some level of expertise. Learning takes faith, and hope. To that end, I would love to start experimenting in print making.
Hope your birthday week was full of joy.
Many happy returns! You and your whole family are an inspiration! <3 I am interested in learning more about mixed media and collage techniques, but especially about assemblage art, such as in shadowboxes, Joseph Cornell style.
I do enjoy natural dyeing and eco printing on fabric with leaves, flowers etc. It gives me the freedom of expression and creativity I am longing for without the necessity of drawing and painting skills. I would so love to learn to wield a pen and paintbrush to take my art further. And I do appreciate very much your magical style - it is quite distinctive, and very personal. I have a deep desire to learn how to take inspiration from my photographs and jars and jars of stuff I have collected on my hikes and translate them into wonderful works of art!

You are a sweetheart and a revelation in e-course land as both your approach to teaching art and creativity and sharing your ideas is very original and different from your colleagues' way of working: I am super grateful for your endless generosity and I bet many of us are ...
Learning about original ways of printing would certainly broaden my horizon and I am dreaming of a class about working with the 4 elements too.
If I'd be the lucky winner of this wonderful give-away I'd love to share it with the lovely creative woman thanks to whom I got to know you and your amazingly inspiring work ... as nothing is more beautiful and precious than shared joy!
Much love
moi

I'd like to learn how to letter!
Happy birthday, Alisa!
There is so much creative stuff I'd love to try out! I'd love to learn how to let go of the perfectionism that stops me from doing things I love, like drawing and painting. I'm trying to make anything I draw/paint/doodle a piece of art worth showing to others... And this stops me even from things like doodling in a sketchbook! I'd love to be able to create as freely as you do, not worrying something looks not too good...
Besides, I'm on my way learning how to drive my own creative business and there is still a lot for me to learn about that!
Thanks for the giveaway!
Agata

How generous! Thank you for the chance. :) I am definitely interested in painting faces--getting that layered, more impressionistic look, but with a realistic feel.
Adult ADHD. That's me! Great at starting all sorts of creative projects. My mom was a very talented watercolor artist. Favorite thing to do with mom as a kid was walk the beach looking for "FROSTED GLASS". I think those beautiful translucent pieces of glass remind me of my mom's paintings. She's been gone 6 years now. I've never had any professional instruction. I just paint what I remember Mom telling me. Keep it loose. Don't over work the paint. And, it only has to give a suggestion of your subject. You don't have to go for realism. I have loved the online watercolor classes I have taken from you! As a busy mom myself, I appreciate that I can stop and start your classes (or repeat!) as time allows. Your style makes me happy and feel free to experiment. Try new things. Keep up the amazing work! Oh, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! And what a generous gift you have to offer. Thanks for sharing your talent! My comment is probably too long for anyone to even take a look, but spoken from the heart! ❤️
I would really like to be able to become a better letterer. My desire is to find a style that fits me. A secondary thing would be drawing, or more like doodling. Anything creative would be fun!
I want to learn how to treat our wood from trees that die so I can make tables and things! Fun Doins!
I love your classes! Lifetime access would be amazing. I want to learn how to relax when making art. I know it comes from doing and letting go. In my head, I know this. I love your way of teaching and encouraging and hope that by continuing to take classes I will some day learn to relax when I create.
I'd love to learn pattern drafting
I would love to learn pattern drafting and how to design my own fabrics.
Wow! Lifetime classes! That's great! One of the things I've been wanting to try is Inkodye. It reminds me of photography class in high school when I learned how to develop film. I can't wait to sit in the sun and wait for the magic to happen! Happy Birthday Alisa!
Wow what a great give away! One of the many things I would love to learn is how to paint with wax or is it called encaustic.
I would love to see your take on the two things that ground me and set my mind straight; the mountains and the ocean (two very powerful therapists)!
I want to paint big! I love your wallscapes!

I would like to learn more mixed-media techniques, like how to sew paper (without breaking my machine or doing it by hand).
Ooooh! How exciting! What a wonderful opportunity. Hmmmm ... something creative and new ... I'm still yet to try the Gel printing you do and working more with watercolour. You just inspire me with what you do. Your enthusiasm. I do hope you've been enjoying your birthday week.
I am trying cyanotype printing right now which is fun!
Love to learn: 1. landscape painting (lakes and reflections especially) 2.colour mixing (how to make brighter colours) 3. Watercolour (especially flowers in a vase)
Three things I would like to learn.
1. Easy color theory for dummies
2. Create a body of work
3. Editing pics on phone
