Dear Alisa, so generous is this gift! I have a preference for inks because of their strong color and especially the transparent colors and fluid nature. If I were to win this gift I would very much like to purchase a Dr. Ph. Martin's Bombay India Ink set as I have always wanted to try them. Thank you and Happy Birthday.

My favorite art supply is the water brush, and you are the one who introduced it to me. During the past year, we have not had water available in our art room. However, I can fill up the water brushes before class and we're able to proceed with watercolor lessons. Thanks for the tip! Happy birthday!

My favorite art supply is watercolor tube paints. Thanks for a chance at the $100 gift certificate!

Jodi Marie said...

Oh my word, it's far too difficult to pick just one! My husband once told me that I could open up an art supply shop with how many things I stow away in the closet :) Thinking about it...I will never say no to a good set of Prismacolor double-ended art markers, specifically the paint brush tipped. I think because they are so portable and can provide quality color no matter where you are. I also love love love Pentel Aquash water brushes. You can use them in so many ways; with alcohol inks, water soluble crayons, watercolors and wc pencils, and so many more.

It's impossible to choose one favorite because I LOVES my art supplies. But one I've recently discovered and started playing with is matte medium. I love using it to stick tissue paper, other artwork, napkins, stickers, and other bits and bobs to my art journal pages. It helps me create interesting backgrounds in a fun way. And who doesn't like to stick things together? It's fun. I use Liquitex brand.

My favorite art supply... probably water-soluable fabric. I´ve made some awesome fun things with freestyle machine embroidery on that. The fun part is, when I sew a face, I can make ten faces that look pretty similar, but when the fabric disappears, that´s when the face gets it´s personality. BuI´d need my Bernina sewing machine too ;-)
