I work with watercolors a lot and one of my favorite tricks is using rubber cement as a resist. It's a fast and
easy way to create unique painted surfaces full of texture.
All you need is a jar of rubber cement, watercolor paper and watercolors!
There are so many ways to get creative with this process!

The result is unique and colorful paper that can be used for all kinds of creative projects!

Great fun. I bet the rubber cement is much more economical than masking fluid. How do you clean it off the stamps and brushes?

Thanks for sharing! I didn't know there was an acid-free rubber cement. I've tried it a long time ago with regular rubber cement and it turned my papers yellow.
I am curious though, how do you clean your brushes afterwards?
who needs to go buy expensive scrapbook cardstock when you can make papers like this yourself!
