If you haven't already, go pick up a copy of "The Girlfriends' Guide to Pregnancy". And keep laughing...it gets weirder. You look beautiful

Congratulations! Beautiful pictures.

Congratulations! I have always thought that pregnant women were gorgeous. You certainly prove that point!
Taking 2 cells and making them into an entire person is amazing. And you do it in your tummy without having to do much to contribute to the process. It must be sort of humbling.
You are doing it all with style!

jgr said...

You look just beautiful and you are right it is a strange process, one that you savour then want over then miss. Congrats!

Katie Cannon said...

Enjoy every min. It may see like it is taking for ever, but it will go by faster than you think.

Jessie K said...

And it'll only get stranger from here on out. Whether you begin to think about sequins and sparkles all day long or how Superman flies and why is mud so much fun because it's so dirty. :) It's long, it's difficult, but it sure has it's moments. Moments that you look back on and say, "Those were the days."

How exciting and you look beautiful! Good luck with the pregnancy. I never got the "oh the baby moving is so wonderful" comments people made. Felt like an alien moving around inside to me! :)

Jeannette said...

it is definitely one of the strangest, hardest, yet glorious experiences ever. Wait until you feel the baby move (if you haven't already)...and then you can make out if it's a foot or hand...that's crazy! You look great

Melinda said...

You're looking so well and happy, Alisa :) As for the oddest experience, think of yourself in a state of metamorphosis, like a butterfly or moth, cocooning the beauty you are creating and preparing to bring into the world. Keep well and enjoy this part of things: it all goes by so fast. xo, B

I hope you have felt the first "butterfly" sensation of the baby.....startling but so wonderful. May be alittle early....

You look sooo cute! It is a strange process and just wait until after the baby is born you'll really encounter weird things with a new infant! lol

I've realized now that my boys are 4 and 5 years old...boys are strange and gross but I love them anyway! lol

Unknown said...

LOL, it is amazing the crazy stuff that goes on with your body. Just wait until labor, its like an out of body experience, your body is going to have that baby whether you like it or not! lol

How cute your little bump is - you look very pretty, motherhood is going to agree with you. Yes, it is strange, different and wonderful all at the same time. Peggy

Amy Munson said...

It only gets weirder and when the little one arrives it will rock your whole world.

Marcie said...

Lisa Chin said...

You are beautiful!!!

Suggestion: I took sideways photos of me while standing in a doorway so that I had something to measure my belly against (since the top grows too!).

HollyM said...

The commenter who wrote about sparkles, Superman, and mud really said it best for me (and better than me) My children are grown and moved away and I still enjoy every minute with them. I have a hard time to remember the little things from the past though, so savor it when you can!
You do look beautiful!

Elizabeth said...
