While in Los Angeles I spend a little bit of time each evening in my hotel room working on a few sketchbook pages inspired by my train ride. Here is a peek-
Hola Alisa, Been following your blog for many weeks and you still amaze me every time you post something new. I'm million miles away from being creative but I do admire your works (a special master piece each and every one of them) You even inspire me to start doing things (besides crochet which I started a couple of years ago), maybe one day I'll dare to...Thanks for sharing your art in blogland. Greetings from Spain Ana
I get so excited when I see that you are giving us a peak inside your sketchbook! you are such a fabulous artist, and I love to see your paints! Makes me want to dust off my old studio and start painting instead of sewing again...
Thank you for sharing something so personal with us!
I love your sketches - I'd love to know if you did these from memory of your train ride or if you took snapshots for inspiration to work from? I find I have a difficult time sketching totally from memory and wondered how other artists work.
If there's one talent I really admire in others, it is people who can paint or draw. I'm sooo envious of those who can do it effortlessly - all the shading, the nuances. Love it and I love the glimpses into your sketchbook. :)
So excited to start your sketchbook class!! I do some fiddling in my sketchbook but I would love to do it more confidently. Your sketchbook exudes confident drawing. :) Inspiring.
Like I am hanging out for Monday not enough, you post this? How am I meant to make it through the weekend???
For those above saying they wish this or that - don't wish, DO IT! Alisa's sketchbook class starts Monday, is priced very reasonably and the eyecandy alone will be worth it. SEIZE THE DAY!
Alisa, I received the class invite and then it became inactive. I don't know how to enter the class without it. The intro video worked but the next one didn't. I am very new at doing anything in google and flicker. Can you please send instructions to (amipilon@aol.com)thankyou, Ami
I love your train windows. What is the white pen you write with? I did a 365 drawing exercise last year...one each day in a series of little books. It was a lovely record and although I was relieved to finish it, I kind of miss it now.
I love how your sketches are like windows into your soul - they're framed like a window, with writing around the edges, telling the rest of the story. Really beautiful!
i love your sketch book..very very very nice colors & smart motives..thanks for sharing...i also have a smart sketch book & i love to make motives on it
