DIY ring holder

If there is something that I have A LOT of it is rings! I love collecting unique rings and I am always looking for simple ways to store and display them.
After find these simple jewelry display hands at my local craft supply store, I got busy transforming them into something a little more my style.

I started with a nice thick coat of spray paint. I also found a small plate from the thrift store to use as a base and gave it a coat of color.
I glued the hand to the plate with E6000 (this can be done either before or after adding doodles).

Then, using a white paint pen, I covered the entire surface of the hand with doodles.

The result is a really pretty and decorative way to organize off my rings!

Oh that's a great idea! I will definitely be on the look out for those hands - I wonder if the dollar store or Michaels has them?
