This is going to be a great follow-up to SD1. I find many leaf shapes in my art, regardless of the main subject. They tend to show up over & over.

My sketching is mostly nature and found objects and always landscapes. Love to be out of doors and sketching what I see.
I like to sketch doodles until the page is full. I started doing this about 20 years in college during astronomy class to help pass the time. I know your class would be a million times more interesting.

i like sketching my kids...i have four...they don't stay still as much, but they like to see the outcome...not only has it been an indication of improvement in sketching skills, but a journal/scrapbook of images of my kids growing up!

I love to keep my hands busy by doodling. Now that I'm a preschool teacher, I spend a lot of time doodling my student's initials, and filling the background with fun grids, shapes and circles for them to color. Thank you for your blog ~ I love both the artist insights and personal sharing. <3

I love to sketch natural elements such as flowers, leaves, trees and patterns. I picked up your watercolor set this past year and have fun using them although I could use some sound techniques for controlling color. You have inspired me for years, thank you!

I LOVED the first sketchbook class, and I'm looking forward to checking out the sequel. My favorite thing to sketch is architecture -- everything from art deco details on vintage city buildings to hulking, grungy industrial scenes.
Wow, what a wonderful course! I must have missed the first one! This is perfect for where I'm at, I know the materials, supplies, and have a few basics - but lack the inspiration and motivation. My favourite thing to sketch at the moment is my food. Not only does it help my sketching abilities, and lets me really look at my subject, it also helps me to not just stuff it down my face without thinking about it. Makes me more aware of what I eat and the choices I make.

Love your classes! I always felt very deficient in the area of drawing. I'm trying to branch out though and am making a little progress. Right now flowers are the easiest thing for me to sketch, but I'd love to work up to portraits. Step by step!

Right now, my favorite things to sketch are county jail booking headshots. drawing people out of magazines just doesn't give you quite the same cross-section of humanity.
Other than that, I like noses quite a bit. :)
