I know what you mean... this is wonderful, messy, colourful and highly inspiring... looks like an idea I worked with recently from Carla Sonheim's book where you do messy swipes and then look, look, look to see a shape appear. Like cloud watching only with paint/colour... Fun! I can see this being covered with your lovely doodles :)
I use disposable plastic plates as my palettes when I teach classes, then cut them into flower shapes etc to stitch into my journals. Love the colours on yours, so juicy.

My art students ALWAYS ask to take home their paint napkins! So we framed several of their left over paint paper towels and they look so good!
