Please elaborate! :) What do you use the mini printmaking press for? And what is a mono print plate?

I love when you say "gouache" in class.... It's just fun to say!
Question: When buying individual paints ( like the Goldens) do you have an order you collect them in? Do you start with the primaries on the color wheel and then branch out? Totally mix your own or also buy "salmon, lavender, teal, and gold?

I am taking your art journal delight class. Almost every time I try to sign I get a problem with the website message. I have only been able to get in twice and that was in the beginning of the class. Please help if you can. Thanks

I use a press for printing block prints and just about anything that needs pressure to make an impression.

A mono print plate is used for printing monoprints and monotypes- a process where you ink up a plexiglass plate and print 1 or two designs.

Hi Melody, if you could send me another email alisaburke@gmail.com letting me specifically the message you are getting. Everything has been working just fine on my end (I test things daily) so it would help me to have as much information as possible :)

Thanks!

Kathleen, I am WAAYY to cheap to buy a Golden paints in large quantities so I typically end up splurging on my favorite colors here and there.

Hey! I absolutely love your blog -- especially how you do art with Lucy. I have two little girls to ages 2 1/2 and three months and we absolutely love to do art together. I thought you would enjoy this video and find it inspiring, especially with your connection to ceramics :-)
