I'm obsessed with flowers, they are colorful, beautiful, full of details and are the perfect inspiration for any creative medium. I love flowers so much that I decided to dedicate an entire class to flowers! From finding inspiration to drawing to doodling to painting, (even a little bit of crafting) Flower Power is a fun little class that will focus on using flowers and all things floral as your subject matter.
Flower Power is a "mini class". It is structured into 3 large lessons.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SUPPLIES: This class like all of my classes, does NOT have a required supply list. Instead I will be sharing the supplies that I like to use and then give you a variety of options and inspiration to use supplies that work best for your process and your budget.

The spring has finally arrived here in south west Sweden and I get to enjoy all types of flowers at the moment. I adore your flowers Alisa, I would love to learn from you. My favorite flowers are forget-me-not! They are so small and fragile but when the garden is full of them its like a soft blue cloud is floating just above ground. Love it!
Wow! I simply cannot narrow it down to just one flower because there are SO many awesome, beautiful ones! However, if I HAD to.... I would say a Rhody! Rhododendrons definitely put a smile on my face.
(BTW: I have sent you three emails in regards to a being one of your November scarf giveaway winners, and still haven't heard back from you :o)

My favourite flower is either a white daisy or lavender or daphne. One of them but I couldn't decide tonight what my absolute favourite is. The class sounds fantastic.
To choose just one flower above all others is VERY difficult as they all are so lovely and I have favourites depending upon the season too.Anything with a scent is a must in my garden but if I had to choose it would have to be rose...or lily...or peony...or snowdrop...or lily of the valley...or forget-me-not...or even weeds have nice flowers too!!!
I love all flowers and to name one favourite is hard, but I guess Pelargoniums are the ones that bring back happy memories and are absolutely gorgeous :)
Difficult to chose...the first ones coming to my mind are: cosmos and roses!
Thank you for this opportunity! I absolutely adore your art!
Dana
My favourite is the tulip and I cannot draw a decent one if my life'd depend on it :(

Isn't it wonderful that we are all having such a hard time choosing just one flower. Tells me that flowers have captured our hearts. I like most other people above like so many. Today my favourite is the gerbera.
The bluebells are absolutely beautiful here at the moment, and I love them, but then the fuchsia arrive with their little ballerina dresses - all those vivid colours and all beautiful. And the roses .... mmm .. Can't just pick one. lol Please include me in the draw Alisa ... loving all your flowers.

I adore all your flowers, but I will always love pink lilies, they are so pretty and have such a lovely fragrance.
This looks like a great class. I think my favorite flowers are poppies, but I like most flowers.
Anything that smells wonderful...or pops with colour...quite a few favourites! Maybe deep purple lavender flowers top the list :)
the humble daisy; it reminds me of childhood making "curtains" from long daisy chains with my brother.
I love hydrangeas, my Japanese Iris which are just sprouting from the earth and Flower cactus. What a combination!
I love lilacs! Their fragrance fills the air when they are in bloom!
I love all flowers growing up with a family who owned a wholesale florist. I guess my favorite is the iris. I have over 100 varieties in my little backyard.
The poppy - poppies in fact. They say 'here we are in all our glory.' Not shy to sit back in a flower border, they have their delicate heads held as high as any of their flower bed friends. How could anyone miss them and are so often used in paintings, especially by me...I love them.
I love hydrangeas.i have blues and pinks blooming not far from each other which is rare
I love ranunculus and peonies!
Definitely Lily of the valley and forget me not! That was my wedding bouquet.
I love my oleander... (Nerium oleander cultivars). It reminds me of spain and the bright pink flowers are just such a great moment of colour :) (and it blooms and blooms and blooms in our living room ^^)
I love many kinds of flowers but they all seem to have similar characteristics: frilly and pink.
For example: cabbage roses, peonies, parrot tulips, hollyhocks. Like your flowers, they are similar in construction but unique and individual at the same time.

I adore all flowers but my favorite flower is the violet. I remember spending lost of time picking all these fragrant violets and making them into a big beautiful posy. Would just LOVe to win this class, it looks amazing and just what I need right now. From Di in New Zealand.
Oh wow! This course will be amazing!
I'm actually amnosmic which means I can't smell (from birth) but I'm all about flowers, it's the visual impact... huge swathes of colour and texture. I love billowy, blousey flowers - daisies and cosmos... or peonies which look like upside down ladies dresses.
If I had to pick one flower it would be the chrysanthemum - I always have a big bunch in the house and smaller vases on my desks at home and at work and they look fabulous in the garden :)
It's hard to pick just one so I will name 2: poppies and roses. Okay and Calla Lilies

Daffodils are my favorite flower. I have several "bunches" blooming in my garden right now here in Canada. It has been a very long winter and seeing the yellow and cream blooms brings everyone who passes by "joy". They have endured some pretty harsh weather this spring and even still they bounce back up! Awe, the glory of the daffodils.
Cheers
Cathy

My favorite flower right now is called Trinitaria (I'm not sure the name it English), that grow on huge bushes where I live. They grow in all variations of magenta, pink, purple, orange. They are called Trinitaria because they have three little leaf-like petals.

My all time face is the peony but lately I've been come tell enamored with anemones!
Blue poppies, only grow where it's cold.
Lilies. :)
Hi Alisa,
Recently I've fallen in love with all types of lilies. Not only are they beautiful, but they smell so good!
My favorite flowers are tulips. It's something about their simple form and lovely colors that always makes me happy when they start to bloom. Thanks for the opportunity.
I can't wait for this class to start. I've always loved your doodled flowers. My favorite flowers right now are waterlilies.
Peonies are my favorite flower.
This is going to sound morbid but I love all dead flowers. I started drawing them realistically for my advanced drawing class and there is something about the metaphor of life-cycles that I find really interesting. Plus, growing up my mom would leave flowers in the vase far past their "beautiful" time period and every time I have dead flowers I think of her :)
Gerbera are a favorite of mine. I love their happy faces!
I absolutely love Gerbera Daisies! The brighter the color the better for me. The icing on the cake is if the daisies are surrounded by wildflowers. Oooooh Yes!
Peonies and poppies!!
Lupins- in masses! Love your classes!
Stargazer Lilies - I love them so much but never buy them for myself.
PEONIES!!!! In every color!
