flower power online class giveaway!

My next online class Flower Power starts at the end of this month and today I am giving away 10 free spots!

Leave me a comment and tell me your favorite flower!
I'll draw 10 names and announce the winners over the weekend.

class goes live May 23rd
$30.00

I'm obsessed with flowers, they are colorful, beautiful, full of details and are the perfect inspiration for any creative medium. I love flowers so much that I decided to dedicate an entire class to flowers! From finding inspiration to drawing to doodling to painting, (even a little bit of crafting) Flower Power is a fun little class that will focus on using flowers and all things floral as your subject matter.

Flower Power is a "mini class". It is structured into 3 large lessons.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SUPPLIES: This class like all of my classes, does NOT have a required supply list. Instead I will be sharing the supplies that I like to use and then give you a variety of options and inspiration to use supplies that work best for your process and your budget.

Gorgeous flowers that you've made here. :) My favorite is probably the gardenia. I love the bright white, waxy petals and, of course, the intoxicating scent. But, I also do love moon flowers which trail along the walls and only open at night. My great-grandmother, Mama Ivy, used to have them. So not only do I love their shy ways but they remind me of my very special and much beloved Grandma.

This is a crazy hard question. I have these amazing tiny little irises in my front yard that I transplanted at an inopportune time, yet they survived and are just gorgeous. I adore the flowers on the red bud tree we planted in honor of my stillborn daughter. We have a rare, occasional, volunteer poppy that shows up some years. SO HARD TO CHOOSE A FAVORITE!

I recently had a healing session. My healer said at one point, I let go of past trauma and it turned into a tiny seed that dropped to the ground at my feet.

As many others I love a lot of different flowers, but my absolute favorite is Camellia's. They are just stunning. I get weak at the knees ;-). A close runner up is Magnolia. I live in Sweden where there is spring now and the Magnolias have just been (or some still are) in flower. They are a bit rare here 'cause the winters are a bit too cold. I know where all the Magnolias in my neighborhood are and, well, I get weak at the knees seeing some of those as well. Sigh :-).
