After lots of requests from many of you out there- I am super excited to announce my new online class Doodle Delight! While I touch on doodling in many of my classes I have yet to dedicate a class just to the art of doodling. While I believe ANYONE (despite experience) can create great doodles I have put together this little class to share my own process, demonstrate techniques, ideas, prompts and inspiration to keep your doodling authentic and unique! Well explore how to use lines, shading, how to create unique doodles, how to use and apply inspiration, play with scale and more! All you need is a pen and paper and you are ready to go!
The structure of this class is a little different from my others and it is reflected in the price- $40.00
(It is not large enough to be a 5 lesson class and not small enough to be a mini class- it is somewhere in between!)
Also different from many of my classes- the lessons are posted all at once and ready for you to dive into. And just like the rest of my online classes you have unlimited access to come and go as you please for as long as you want.
For all the details and to register hop over to my online shop!
GIVEAWAY!
And last I will be giving away 4 free spots in the class!
Leave me a comment and tell me you favorite thing to doodle!
I will pick and announce the winners on SATURDAY!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 400 of 487 Newer› Newest»I hopelessly doodle flowers. All kinds. Sometimes, 3-D boxes and once in a blue-moon, the alphabet in ball-point calligraphy...which looks horrible!
Looking forward to this, Alisa. Right now I am doodling alot of fanciful birds with curly, wispy feathers and big dreamy eyes!
I like to doodle trees in my art journal. I would love to win this.

i like to doodle flowers and free forms. Thanks a lot.
Ana from Brazil
I really look forward to the possibility of creating something with doodles. I haven't really been much of a doodler. I just signed up for your 30 days of creativity...doing some heavy-duty therapy, and an excited to establish an everyday habit. I love using art as a means to express all emotions, especially when in the healing process with trauma. Thanks for all you do! I admire your work and willingness to share!
I love doodling flowers and swirls.
I've been doodling flowers. Thanks for the chance to win a spot in the class!
Grace
I admire your endless source of creativity!!
I love to doodle birds and cages and leaves... and I would love to learn from a pro :)
Thank you for letting me learn and grow.
O o. I'm number 208!
Things I like to doodle: flowers (I'm not the first!) and leaves.
I wish I could force my daughter to do it. She's 10 and started with doodle. Do you know what she did: she has put everywhere HP between the flowers. HP= Harry Potter. Grrrr.
I like to doodle flowers and paisley shapes. I am keen on Zentangles too. There are a few examples on my blog.
I have been introducing them to my younger students.
Meanwhile I sometimes find it hard to get started on a blank page. Been working my way through sketchbook delight and Sketchbook delight 2 is waiting in the wings for me to carry on.
I love doodling and your class looks like so much fun! Flowers are my favorite in doodling. Thank you for a chance to win a spot in this great class!
My four year old doodles so spontaneously I try to mimick it but never come close. Perhaps a free spot in your online class will set me free.
I like to doodle turtles. Seriously!
My favorite thing to doodle is faces (and triangles and leaves - couldn't choose just one thing!)
Was recently thinking about getting an online art class for new ideas and techniques.... This is great!
Hi Alisa!!
Thanks for the giveaway :)
Favorite thing to doodle is a tie between CIRCLES and FLOWERS. I can't decide......
xo

I doodle whenever I'm on the phone, mostly leaves and geometric shapes. Looks like this class would stretch my doodling horizons.
Ooooh, what a treat! I love to doodle and you are always an inspiration. Flowers, clouds, the mess on my desk, emotion are some of my favourites.
I doodle eyes a lot, which means that the margins of my school notes are littered! I would love to see the class!
I've been doodling a lot of people in my art journals lately...shapeless, armless, people! Thanks for the chance to win, although I'll probably just end up buying my way in!
My favorite thing to doodle?
The number of favorites would be 17-MILoodles-and one!
I love to doodle. Usually I doodle flowers, random paisley-like shapes, and just whatever strikes me. I almost never start out with much of a plan. It's all about having fun!
I doodle shapes but they never look like anything: lines, circles, flowers, etc. I want to learn to put them all together like you do!!
I like doodling flowers and words together.
Sounds like such creative fun. I haven't doodled in quite some time and should get back to it. When I do, it's all about circles and lines in black and white. I love to see where the pen goes over time.
I would love to properly doodle! I only draw stars, can't seem to draw anything else :/
This looks like a lot of fun!!! Might have to sign up - if I am not too busy with our move later this month!!!
I love to doodlt and mostly do 'zendoodling' like doodling and zentangling all mixed up. I mostly make patterns and flowers.
My favorite things to doodle are flowers.
I don't doodle much because I never know what to doodle. But I would LOVE to learn all about it and start doodling away. Oh please, I hope I get picked.
I love to doodle flowers, squiggles, elfin creatures, and anything else that captures my imagination. I loved your Sketchbook Delight course!
I love to doodle but i find when I think too hard about it they get so I don't like them. I usually doodle anything to do with spirals and flowers but would love to branch out a bit :) and learn NOT to overthink it...
Flowers and trees
I love to doodle and Zentangles ... I love to Zentangle inside shapes, circles, flowers, leaves, whatever I sketch I like to fill in. It would be great to win a spot in your class!
Thanks! Holley
Faces! Annd trees!
Flowers are one of my favorite things to doodle, and I like the mindlessness of zentangles...they're like meditating for me.
Your new class sounds like fun. I've enjoyed several of your other classes and would love a spot in this one.
I love to doodle the side pose of a female's face and hair flowing from her... Loved my mom's face and that's what inspired me... Wanted to capture and absorb her beauty somehow. Please select me for the giveaway. Art is my passion!

hi alisa -- thanks for the opportunity to win a spot in your doodling class -- I have taken art of abstraction and create daily and have enjoyed both of them -- I love your simple way of explaining things -- you are a true inspiration -- hope I win -- I love doodling flowers and random shapes that I turn into abstracts thanks to your abstraction class :0)

Most of my doodles are while i'm on the phone. I might write a word that was spoken during the conversation and doodle in and around it. It could be lines, shapes, flowers, hearts, and/or a bazillion other things. I get some pretty wierd doodles sometimes. =)
I love to doodle with circles. I just finished Sketchbook Delight 1 and would love to do this class!
I find that I doodle geometric patterns. After a few of those I tend to move on to quirky creatures to inhabit the patterns. I also love making objects from random squiggles.
Love doodling flowers and leaves and swirls!
I love to doodle birds.
This class sounds fun and I love the way you doodle, it's always free and pretty. My favorite doodles are little houses, letters, flowers but want to learn more and how to do stretch what I draw. Sometimes I can't fill up a whole page, either it doesn't look right or the doodles start messing up and I overthink them. SO this class would be soooo perfect to win.
Thanks so much for this chance, crossing my fingers wishing hard to be picked!!!
p.s wish you lived on the East coast, would love to take a class in person with you. All your plans and location sound beautiful.
Your doodles are my favorite part of your blog. Looking forward to checking it out. Also will be in Irvine this weekend for Create. Signed up for a couple of your classes...can't wait!

What a fun class! I tend to either doodle flowers or TRY to doodle faces. But they end up looking funky, so I always scratch them out! Thanks for the opp to win a spot! :) Becky V
My most favorite thing to doodle is flowers. I'm not a natural doodler but I sure do try!
I mostly doodle things that make me think of the sea - shells, fish, sunsets over the water, etc. Though, I do also love a nice flower doodle on occasion.
Sounds like a great class!
I love to doodle mostly geometric shapes, swirls, flowers, and clothes :) I guess my favorite are shapes. It's fun to just put them all on paper and see what they turn into.

I think I should doodle more often. :D I don't do it enough. When I do doodle I love flowers and abstract lines. Mostly waves and curves. :D
Vegetables. I love to doodle vegetables. Carrots and celery. And blushed tomatoes (okay - so those are fruit!). I just love the smell of the soil and the crunch of the fresh veggies. Their leaves and range of color and shapes.
I'm excited to sign up for your class and practice doodling vegetables. Ooo- maybe I'll hit a farmers' market for inspiration!
Thanks for creating such an accessible (on many different levels) class!
Random geometric or henna type designs are my favorite!!!
I mostly doodle flowers and eyes...I'd love to expand my horizons.
My favorite things to doodle are flowers. I even put them at the beginning of headings when I am taking notes. We have a white board in our kitchen and sure enough I have my doodles next to each listed item. It's my little happiness. Sometimes I have more doodles then items and I lose track of what I was suppose to do which was to add things to the grocery list. I also doodle on hard surfaces and in the air with my finger. I love it! I do this when I am working on a new doodle and it's relaxing. lol!!!!!!
I don't know what it is but since last summer I have been compulsively doodling birch trees. Just all the time, everywhere. And now they're evolving and actually turned into my first finished painting!
celeste.dueck@gmail.com
Woo hoo another new class! I'd have to say flowers and eyes are my most-doodled things.
I love to doodle flowers! I also love your classes and art!

I doodle to fine peace. Mostly eyes, flowers, spirals and triangles.
I'm a closet artist stuck in nursing school, often wishing I was in art school! Like many of your followers I am also a compulsive doodler and my favorite thing is to do a quick random squiggle and then try to turn it into something interesting during lecture. Usually it becomes a bizarre creature with large teeth and fins. I am fairly new to your site but already inspired by your creativity and love of life. Thanks!!
This sounds like an awesome class! I love to doodle words...creating bubble words, adding shadows to letters, etc.
Definitely flowers! Thanks for the chance to win! Love and hugs! Anita Van Hal

Oddly enough, the doodle assignment was what I had the hardest part with in Watercolor Bliss. Just couldn't think of what to doodle. It think I ended up doing flowers because I couldn't think of anything else, but I think paisleys might be worth a try! Thanks for the chance to win!
What a fun class this sounds like! I wish I was a little freer with my doodling, but when I do it on projects I tend to try and perfect it, which is kind of the opposite of doodling, right? My favorite thing to doodle is flowers and swirls

My fave things to doodle, at the moment, are wonky, curved, houses. Not necessarily normal human type homes. I want to do a series and eventually do them in fabric. My favorite things to doodle are faces and feathers :)
pick me pick me!!! ur muse amazes me!
I love to doodle flowers and swirls. :)
I absolutely love doodling-pretty sure my teachers hate it! The second I'm done with a quiz or a test, I'm doodling away, jazzing up the title, making little things here and there 3D. There'll be a random guitar next to an answer. I love to doodle...this may seem a little strange...spider webs! I also love writing things in block letters and such. This may make me sound even more crazy, but drawing the backs of people's heads! (I can never get the front right...) Hair always shines in a fascinating way, highlights, texture. Anyways, you are extremely inspirational, and when I'm not attacking my homework with doodles, I'm on your blog with my jaw reaching my knees in awe at just how amazing you, Lucy, and your art are.
I like to doodle lines and zig-zags; things like that! Your class sounds fun!
I always doodle leaves and trees. This sounds like a great class!
