Last year it was book pages and this year I am using recycled brown paper bags for my gift wrap! Never underestimate just how far a brown paper bag will go in your holiday wrapping!
I've put together some VERY simple and easy ideas to inspire you to use brown paper bags in your wrapping-
Any brown paper bag will do- I used a couple of Whole Foods bags.
Use a white out pen and doodle all over the surface.
Use it as gift wrap.
Use the handles of the bag as a ribbon and bow.
Use a sharpie and a white out pen to draw or doodle all over the surface- I drew snowflakes all over.
Use to wrap your gift,
and add some fun ribbon to top it off.
Create flower gift toppers.
Cut out a circle
add hot glue to the middle and scrunch it up to create dimension.
Layer circles on top of each other and then use scrunched up paper to the center of the flower.
Add to the top of your gift.
Play around with different shapes and sizes of flowers.
I used lots of triangles and layered then on top of each other

I have a humongous roll of brown butcher paper which I was planning to use this year. bought it at a yard sale for $3.00. Definitely going to use your idea for decorating them. I'll have to post a picture...though mine will never be as good.
Oh I love that packaging.... I've got some brown paper, and a trusty white paint pen.... I'm going to give this a go!
Amazing! Can't wait to try some for myself.
You know what I love... you take time and effort - it shows!!! Your work is lovely!!! Not kist one doodle on a piece of paper - you doodle the whole paper... it takes time and it looks beautiful... not just five petals on a star... twenty five!!! It takes time and it looks beautiful!!! You always inspire - thank you!!!
What a wonderful idea.
Fantastic! I love your ideas!
Absolutely beautiful gift wrapping! I do not like to wrap gifts and usually my husband does it. But I will certainly do snowflake and ornament doodling that you have shown here. Thank you for sharing this great inspiration! :-)
The art of recycling perfectly put into practice. Very lovely! :)

fab........
who would think of using a correction pen to paint with? You would and that is why I am here! Great idea, I went back to check out the book page post and those flowers would be cute on this brwon bag wrapping paper.

I love this post! Mainly because I've been hoarding paperbags that it has taken up one large corner of a room and has slip slided into a huge mess!
I hope to use this method to wrap presents soon... soon...
I like to create anything that can be made simply, but with elegant design. I would like to use what I have in a new way and to be able to give away. I do not want to imitate what is already the style out there, but infuse a freshness and a joy into what is created. You accomplish that!
oh wow! I love your bag paper...the snowflakes look so awesome!
gorgeous!
Awesome wrapping ideas! The first is my favorite.
I would absolutely love to win one of the 10 free spots in your class!! My favorite thing to create are mixed-media map paintings and map drawings!!

Amazing !! All this and a newborn who just had her shots as well- You GO GIRL!!!!
absolutely fabuloas! It's amazing what you can do with a paper bag!
Love it. I did the same for our niece's birthday present a few months ago. Just some very simple flowers in white and turquoise. It was incredibly easy and looked lovely.
Thanks for the chance!
I melt glass and like to make crazy pendants and funky oversized rings. I also totally love Sharpies but can barely draw a stick figure!
I actually started wrapping my gifts with cut up Trader Joes bags and glue dots earlier this week. I'm artistically challenged but this has been one of my better wrapping years. Just adding ribbon and a pretty tag makes the gifts look nicely wrapped and the thicker paper is easier to manipulate
Just lovely!
great ideas, so quick and easy
