My favored creations ebb and flow. Sometimes textiles, sometimes paint, sometimes clay, often photography. Most recently I have been drawn by creating shadowboxes filled with found items and collage pieces.

I think it has to do with the fact that my life has been filled with incredible transition in the last year including an cross-border move, a surgery and the loss of our dear pet. Having a course such as this would be wonderful to help me get grounded once again!
Thanks for the generous give!

I like to create excitement and fun. My mom and I love to do the same types of things. She is an amazing person and inspires me in what I do. We continually challenge each other. She's not content to do the same things she did 30 yrs. ago...we keep each other going!!

A couple of months ago, I read your blog for the first time from beginning to end and as a result, started to carry a sketchbook and watercolours with me. Had long wanted to be that person but never felt confident enough. I have also upgraded my DSLR and started setting myself photography assignments. I can genuinely say that it was your blog that inspired me to get the creativity flowing again and I am extremely grateful. Thank you!

Hi! I am an international teacher living in Beirut, Lebanon.I work as an atelierista at a small international school. I love to create anything daily- I often peruse websites (including yours) in the mornings to glean inspiration. Then I use all kinds of recycled objects that I have on hand in the school's atelier (I never throw anything away and love to horde) to create. Making something everyday is a must, like coffee- it wakes me up and feeds my soul!

First and foremost I want to thank you for your motivation. You have inspired me to create again! As a mother of a 2 1/2 year old and 6 month old it is easy to get so caught up in their needs that you neglect your own need to express yourself and be creative. Taking your classes has revived my creative spirit again and gives me new energy to be a better mom .
I enjoy creating custom jewelry, note cards and scrapbooks. I am now ready to expand my territory.

Once upon a time...I created many things...with wood, paint, fabric, yarn, paper...then life happened, and with three little girls and work and all that 'stuff'...I began to lose little bits and pieces of my creativity...a little more each day. So many ideas swirling in my head, so much to do! Grateful for the new found creative inspiration of my own grown up 'girls' and other creative women like you...thank you!

Clothes...
Love to take an idea and make it my own. This way I'm not limited to what's on the rack (no thanks stretch jeans that create muffin tops!) and so the clothing is flattering for me and in the color or pattern that I adore.
Yippee!

I love to create anything "useful" -- I love to make things with purpose!

Anything that involves getting covered in paint! paper crafting, rubber stamping, drawing, sewing, embroidery, painting in fact any form of mixed media where one idea cross pollinates with another. What if's are my favourite type of question. i love to take a product and see what else i can do with it. the resulting painty mess is wonderful!! i really admire your ability to create everyday and wish i could too!!!!

Giving to others remains my favorite daily art. I,m not always as creative as i would like to be, but I always pray that the recipient will recognize the intent. I try to give decorated tags or collages or gifts of time.
My own art journal
Is What I really enjoy on my own time. I am trying to learn to sketch even though I am not very good at it.

I'd like to create some TIME to do this - and several other - classes!!

I love to create delicious and healthy food in my kitchen (holiday baked goods are in the oven at the moment but lately I've been hooked on making a simple artichoke tapenade that I add to beans and use as my sauce on the base of my pizza! Yum!). I love to create yoga practices to help nourish myself and others. I create paintings on paper/canvas/cotton/muslin and I also love to sew! I also love to create both special and wonderfully everyday/(extra)ordinary moments with my kids, my husband, and my friends.

There are so many things I like to create . Working with papers or fabric is my favourite.
It could be in the form of a book, a wallhanging, with stich or paint, anything goes.
Would love to win your class.
Love your work.

merry Christmas to you and yours! thanks for this chance to win.
I think lately, I am most into fabric anything. sewing, embroidery, mixed media, canvas etc.

When I need a little inspiration to "get my art on" I know I can always look to something you are creating to jump-start my creativity. I have been following your work since taking a class with you at Inspired Artist in NC in May. Since then I have worked with canvas and surface design, as well as keeping a sketchbook using watercolors. I would love to take this new class and would be so thrilled to win a spot in the class.

I like to create cute little gifts most. Things that let people know I am thinking of them. Little quirky things like picture frames or postcards or bracelets or headbands!

Oh gosh, I have SO many passions--mixed media, scrapbooking, cards, altered art, crochet, cross stitch, sewing, etc. It truly is hard to narrow down. So, I will just say that my favorite is creating things for my precious triplet girls or things that will be passed down for future generations. Thanks for the chance to win, and blessings to you and your new little one!

I love sketching and painting but have been really into mixed media on canvas lately. It would be so cool to win a spot in the class! Thanks for the opportunity!

Oh how cool. Love your work and inspiration. I love to do most anything especially with mixed media. Paint, glue, ink all make me happy.

Today I am loving drawing paisleys and flowers and such on a gourd. Making Christmas cards with origami wreaths made from an old dictionary, recycled red paper, a string bow, masking tape for writing the greeting and a photo of my son on them was a lot of fun. The majority of my presents for family are made by me.
Tops on my list of projects are YOURS! I would love to take one of your classes!

WOW! 583 comments already!

I love to create with paper through folding, cutting, twisting, sewing, or any combo of the aforementioned.

Reusing paper from magazines, paper bags, books...is my absolute favorite thing to do.

Happy holidays! :-)

There are so many mediums I love to create with, but my favorite things to create are gifts for family and friends. I know I love to get handmade things and I hope my personalized gifts are loved by my friends. Thanks for the chance to win such a great prize

I teach painting and sculpting to kids of all ages at a Visual Arts Center, so I tend to be inspired by what they create with the topics and materials I give them. Creating art dealing with nature/wood is one of my main focuses these days, working with wood and using paint with paper sculpting. I also have a slight obsession with hot glue and cardboard that I doubt will ever change, because hot glue is one of the best inventions ever. :)

I'd love to join this class! It looks so fun! I've always wanted to try one of your classes.

What I create the most are journal pages using whatever I can get my hands on. But I also adore knitting and gifts for my friends; mix c.d.'s in handmade cases and journals filled with poems. Merry Christmas!!

cards and tags - that's pretty much it. I tried scrapbooking, but never really got into it. I do love to sew occasionally, too.

I love creating pretty much anything. Right now though I am working on some sewing projects, a few embroidered items, knitting, crochet, mixed media.. and then there is all the cooking and baking that I love to do.

This looks like a fun class. I desperately need to be creative on a daily basis and right now that translates to doodling in my planner, which is turning into more of an art journal. Water media is my favorite outlet at the moment, but I also love making jewelry and crochet. Thanks and have a wonderful Christmas.

I just like to create. I like sewing, making cards, sketching... I would love a spot in your class. Thanks for the chance!

The last few years, my creativity has been mostly preschool arts and crafts with the grandkids. Every year at christmas, with my adult kids and grandkids we have a craft day and decorate my trees. This year we made snow globes! I like mixed media and art journaling.

I would love to start the new year with this class. I love to create in all aspects, colour my home, create with my children, create in the kitchen. Creativity is the icing on life's cake!

Happy holidays!

I love to create. Drawing, painting, sewing both by hand and with a machine, quilting, beading, wire wrapping, making candles, all sorts of home decor things etc. I'm always trying to learn more and get better at everything I do-I'm mediocre at most of the list above and really have a hard time finishing projects...I hope I might win so I can amp my ooomph and be more creative!

I use to draw and paint when I was younger. Lately I have been using my creative inspirations for simple decor around the house. A course like this may very well give me a jump start in the right direction for the new year.
