It is the wonderful, breathtaking aroma of gardenias. my wedding bouquet; the glorious shrub in my front yard in Virginia; the pots on the back patio during the summer in Wichita and the small leafy plant full of buds and promise in my condo living room.
ReplyDeleteIt is so difficult to choose a favorite, but I think the wild flowers that bloom every year here along the roadside...the Texas bluebonnets and the Indian paintbrush, with bright reds, blues, whites, and a signal Spring is around the corner. It is truly amazing that something so beautiful can pop up and add so much joy, and it only needs water to flourish. No one has gone in and manipulated or improved them, they are true wild flower beauties all on their own.

Just bought the Grateful Heart Art Journal class and loving it!!! My goal is to journal a little each day the whole month of April, so I'm thrilled that the class is broken down into 30 prompts. ReplyDeleteAlisa - I just tried some paint you might like - Faber-Castell Connector Paint Box. Beautiful watercolor that comes with Chinese White you can mix to make it opaque.
This class looks amazing and my fav flower is the lilac. When I was a kid my mom had 3 lilacs in the back yard and she would cut them in the spring n bring them inside. Oh their scent was heavenly.
