ReplyDeleteI am grateful for living in this century, when women have so many more options, chance for education, ability to be mothers and or work...I am grateful that there are doctors and our country is not at war...I could go on, but you're right Alisa, it is important to remind ourselves of this and not get caught up in the trivialities of life.
ReplyDeleteThank you for this opportunity.
I am grateful that i am creative!!!

ReplyDeleteI always try to give, a present something from myself, inspiration on my blog, because I am grateful for all the friends around me who are with me in good and in dark moments of my life. But although I love to give I secretly hope to win this give away to be honest :)
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for a myriad of things and one in the top twenty is for the internet and the wonderful creative connections made.
ReplyDeleteI am grateful for having a wonderful spouse who supports me in everything however crazy it may be...
ReplyDeleteI am so grateful for all the things I sometimes take for granted: living in a peaceful country, a warm house, being able to buy food and that we have healthy children that are able to get an education. It is so easy to look at people that have bigger houses and are able to afford more things or activities, while there are millions of people that struggle, to even provide their children with food or have to flee there homes because of war or persecution. I am grateful to live a simple but still very privileged life!

ReplyDeleteAfter the death of my father this August, I continue to turn to my art journal to celebrate the healing richness of gratitude. The grief I share with the paint and paper is dramatic. I feel an urge to find the thankfulness in the small parts of my day: the brightest blue sky, the orange of the fall leaves, brown of the dirt swirling on the walking path. Trying to portray these delights through art expression lifts my spirits, if not momentarily, the sorrow is fleeting.

We just celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary and he is the most wonderful person/thing in my life.
