I didn't realize that taking down the Christmas tree would be a really big deal to a (sentimental) toddler. So I scrambled to figure out something to take its place. A few branches and some colorful paper were all I needed to create something special for Lucy!
So Cute! And so easy, too!
ReplyDeleteA sweet idea and Lucy is very pleased!
ReplyDeletegreetings Karin

ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! I adore the bright pops of color during a time of year when it's gray and cold around here. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteOooh I love this idea for Valentine's Day! Also, I am new to your blog and enjoy it very much:-)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! And so easy looking. This would be super cute as a centerpiece for Valentine's!
ReplyDeleteThat is so very sweet. She's a lucky girl with an awesome mommy. And we're so lucky you share all of this creative mojo! = )
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love these!!! They bring so much cheer!
ReplyDeleteI wish wish wish I wasn't in the process of staging my house for sale or I'd be immediately making some heart branches!
I'm with Lucy, she is getting cuter by the day. I always put off taking our tree down, this year we cut our own and it was a truly an awesome tree, the best ever so oldest DD and I decided that rather put it curbside, we removed all of the ornaments, kept the stand and lights on it and put it in our backyard. We plug it in at night and we can see it from our kitchen and dining area. It creates a magical light. The next time it snows it will glow and since we live in MN that is guaranteed till at at least March. :)
ReplyDeleteI think we've had tears every year when we finally take the tree down, usually in late Jan/early Feb, and my oldest is 8! This is such a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteI think I know how she feels. I always feel sad taking down the tree. This is such a wonderful and neat idea.
ReplyDeleteEasy, funny, happy...Really GOOD IDEA!!! :)
