rubber cement resist

I work with watercolors a lot and one of my favorite tricks is using rubber cement as a resist. It's a fast and
easy way to create unique painted surfaces full of texture.

All you need is a jar of rubber cement, watercolor paper and watercolors!

There are so many ways to get creative with this process!
Here are a few of my favorites...

The result is unique and colorful paper that can be used for all kinds of creative projects!

  2. Great fun. I bet the rubber cement is much more economical than masking fluid. How do you clean it off the stamps and brushes?

  8. Thanks for sharing! I didn't know there was an acid-free rubber cement. I've tried it a long time ago with regular rubber cement and it turned my papers yellow.

I am curious though, how do you clean your brushes afterwards?
