I, too, walked down to enjoy the sight of our spectacular Pacific Ocean yesterday. It really was one of those picture perfect days -- and you pictures prove it!!
Beautiful- wow, some of those photos look like ready-made paintings! And it was great to live vicariously with that video. It's so awe-inspiring to watch the way the waves meet the shoreline with such grace, beauty, and power!
I feel small when I visit Ft. Rosecrans where many of my family are buried. There are so, so many people buried there but according to my Uncle while attending my dad's funeral there, only a few hundred were there in the 1940's. Not only do I feel small there but I feel so finite.
Thank you so much for this post. I was fortunate enough to spend a week in the San Diego area last month. (I'm from Chicago). I can't imagine that anyone would ever get tired of watching the waves on the rocks. Your video brought it all back.
