Masking fluid is so much fun to create with. And lately I am loving the watercolor resist pen from Prima. Masking fluid is a latex liquid used to block out areas of a watercolor painting. Once it dries you can paint over it and retain the white paper anywhere you've applied the masking fluid. The pen makes it possible to draw, doodle or write really fine lines. When you are finished painting you simply rub it away and you are left with white space anywhere the masking fluid was applied.
Amazing! I could watch this video over and over again!
ReplyDeleteI keep meaningful quotes to add to my journal and couldn't help but add yours this morning. It's the complicated-----that makes us so darn special. But I immediately added my own addendum "The trick to living a full life is knowing that this applies to others as well as ourselves." Seems we fall in love with quirks in our mate then get irritates with those quirks with time. LOL I've been wanting to try the masking fluid technique for so long but thought I would waste too much fluid. I can see it is worth the cost with your beautiful page.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great product. So much better than the brush method. Does it flow well after extended use? Also, could you tell me what paint tin set is showing in the pictures? I like the double mixing area. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWow, I need this pen so much!!
