I pretty much live on avocado toast. It's a fast and healthy meal that I eat just about every day for lunch. Grab a slice of your favorite bread, mash up some avocado and then get creative with toppings. Here are some of my favorite ways that I prepare my avocado toast!
Bon app' and thank you for the inspiration, Alisa, always!
ReplyDeleteYum. I love avocado and include it on a lot of things, but have not thought of this. Our tomatoes, cukes, etc., are really bountiful this year and we will enjoy melding all the wonderful flavors. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteВкуснятина! Спасибо за идеи!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, avocado toast is the food of the gods. You have some intriguing combos here. I like it with some fresh corn and tomatoes, and recently started making avocado egg salad - squish a hard egg and avocado together with S&P, and dip with crackers or spread on toast; also good to add some pepitas or sunflower seeds. I could go on and on!
ReplyDeleteGreat combos too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your secrets with avocado toast and also the cumin quinoa tacos. That is what I'm having for lunch today! :)
ReplyDeleteHa! You've opened up my world (again!). I used to find all kinds of things to have with avocado on toast for breakfast but since my daughter started at kindy this year, I've been racing home to make myself a brunch of poached eggs with avocado and Promite on toast (sometimes with baby spinach). Promite is a bit like Marmite, Vegemite but sweeter ... Not sure what you call it in America. So I have this either two or three days a week before I start into my work process. There's some yummy ideas you've posted right there to that don't take any extra time. It is all about time when I only have a certain amount of hours before she returns. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJust listened to a Jamie Ivey podcast with Sally Lloyd-Jones (Jesus Storybook Bible) and she was talking about this fabulous toast! Thank you for sharing these yummy ideas and thank you for your blog-love the encouragement and beautiful work you share!
