When I'm having a hard day or am feeling depressed I remember her determination to keep going and never quit no matter what people told her no matter what obstacles got in her way and no matter how tired she was. She kept moving forward and kept her eyes on making a great home for her family. She died of Alzheimer March 14th 2014 leaving behind 2 children, a grand daughter, a great grandson and a future great grand daughter that was born April 7th 2014. I know that she blesses our family daily but just thinking about her still can bring tears to my eyes.

And Pooh replies " my favorite day". And so this is what my sweet friend reminds me.

  127. My mom, she's had a really tough life. Since she was twenty she had to take care of her mom and husband, who were both dealing with serious illnesses, and 2 children (my brother and I) who she eventually had to bring up alone since my father passed away. She's had no help whatsoever from neither her toxic family or my father's family who was even more toxic if possible, and now in her fifties she went back to University and she's rockin' it, all the while still juggling work and home. I don't know how she does it or where she still finds the energy after all she's been through. Amazing woman.
