Hi Alisa: BeautifulBeautiful !!! I love peeking into your sketchbook series - thank you : ) Did you paint your black background ?? or is it black paper you're sketching on ??
I am also enjoying SOOOOOOOO much your SketchingIntoSpring class - what fun it has been for me to just site and try to sketch - LOVE IT !!! Blessings, Sandra in AZ : )
I read your blog every week day and have for a few years now. I love the peek inside your sketchbook segment you feature. What a refreshing switch to black as a background. It adds so much depth. I was wondering if you have considered using grey as a background as it's such a "hot" neutral right now?
Love this so much, but I always have a hard time working on a black surface with white pens. Which one are you using? I see some people indicate that it is a Sharpie, please confirm :) Thanks!!
Did you paint the paper with India Ink or acrylic?
From the picture, I would say it's definitely a Sharpie Extra Fine Tip Oil Based Paint Pen. I got mine from Amazon. They work like a dream - once you get them flowing of course!
you inspire me.....i'm looking for white sharpies. i even went to the big blick store in portland....they never heard of them. sigh. i've checked everywhere i can possibly look in washington, but have yet to run across these. can you please let us know where we can find these. nothing makes me want something worse than when i can't find it. thank you so much for your always inspirational blog. angelheartcottage@comcast.net
Oooh I love peeking into your sketchbook. I have a question- do the white Sharpies have a strong smell? I get a headache from the regular Sharpies...thx
i love your work. I was never interested in watercolors in school. Looking at your work I want to give it try. Do you have an online class for beginners?
Beautiful work x
