Fridays here on the blog are typically dedicated to all things fashion and for my last giveaway of the week I've got a super unique watch to share! I am really picky about the brands and things that I promote here on my blog (I tend to turn down a lot of requests). But when Jord contacted me to see if they could send me one of their wood watches for review, I didn't have to think about it- I mean I'm a nature girl who wears wood jewelry!
Jord watches are beautiful and unique. They are designed to take people back to nature and are handcrafted from wood. I love this watch SO much because it a fabulous alternative to all those trendy gold watches!

The watch is gorgeous! My favorite accessory... Actually I have a few. Ever since elementary school I wear every day my earrings, watch, bracelet and necklace. They don't need to be very fancy, as long as I have them all. If one is missing, I feel imcomplete. And more recently, I am especially enjoying my Trollbeads bracelet.

ReplyDeleteI'm not wearing a lot but two pieces I'm in love with are a wooden Zulu bracelet made of wire and beads I got in South Africa and a Kalevala Silver Ring. My things tell story and I love natural materials. I studied forests for the last years so hey, wood is my thing.

I adore the watch, it's gorgeous, and the rest of the jewellery with it. I have an abundant collection of scarves that I adore and would be hard pressed to single out one single fave. Love that you can change the entire look of an outfit with one (or more,lol) relatively inexpensive accessory.

ReplyDeleteWhile it may not really be considered "fashion", I hate leaving the house without my wedding ring and two "kids" rings on. The two small bands I wear on my right had represent our two boys, and their birthmoms each have the same ring I do to represent our bond.

It wa raining, and we ducked into a stairwell that led upstairs to a little store that imported clothes and jewelry from Nepal. ReplyDeleteMy favorite accessory is long necklaces. I'm a very tall lady and I like to wear simple but classic clothing, so I've found that long necklaces go a long way to spice up an outfit. The funkier the better! I love finding necklaces at thrift stores or garage sales, the old stuff is always the best quality and the most unique!

I have to wear a stack of bracelets each day - 3 thin silver cuffs - 2 that my husband gave me 30 years ago, 1 my youngest daughter made, and an Inspire Truth band from the New Year's Eve party we went to in Portland this year. Those along with my watch which has a homemade leather band. Oh MY GOSH!!! I love that watch! My father was a carpenter and I inherited his love of wood - the grain lines, scent, color, and feel - all make me happy. I will be purchasing one of these!!! I wear rings that have sentimental value - my G. Gram's cameo that she found while in service in Warwickshire Castle, my Mom's ruby ring Dad bought her, my Gram's wedding band, and a dragonfly ring since I love dragonflies. :)

A favourite accessory of mine is a delicate gold ring I have with a green stone, surrounded by quartz stones. It's simple and I love it!

My favorite is earrings. I play too much with bracelets and rings and necklaces seem too fancy for everyday wear. I also love scarves and bandanas to hold back my hair.
