If you are ever considering planning a visit to the Oregon Coast, I must recommend that you forget about summer and come in the fall or winter. No, the weather will not be warm or predictable, it is likely that it will be down right nasty. But when the rain stops (even if it is just for a few minutes) and the clouds part, you will experience moments of pure magic! The light, the glassy reflections in the sand, the clouds and the crisp air make the cold and very wet season here pretty darn special!
