This is the time of year when I always get organized and there is nothing that I love more than a fresh calendar and planner. And while I could probably go digital with my planning, I love a good ol' fashion paper calendar and planner. This year I decided that instead of buying a calendar/planner I would make my own from a blank sketchbook.
(A blank sketchbook is great to use for creative planning because there are lots of pages to fill up with notes and the paper is great for painting, painting and collage.)
I started by creating a fun cover - I used a piece of black chip board and drew all over the surface with a white pen. I glued it to the cover of my sketchbook (I used black paint to touch up the edges).
I split my sketchbook into three sections-
1. A calendar with one month on each page.
2. A blog section where I can keep all of my blogging notes, ideas, sketches, and blogging schedule.
3. My to do lists- The only way I am able to get so much stuff done is by keeping detailed to do lists for each and every day of the week. Keeping these lists in one place (instead of all over the house) will keep me more organized.
Each section has plenty of room to for notes and sketches.
Now my pages are ready for a year of creative planning, ideas, organization and of course, some sketching!
I created a printable calendar/planner kit- 12 pages of colorful fun printables that you can download and use to create (or add to) your own unique calendar/planner!
The download is $10 and you can find all the details in my shop HERE!
Well Done, girl!

Gorgeous! I love your page inspiring you to keep balance with the importance of your little girl. I indulged in a new three-ring planner for the new year, and while it doesn't have the artistic personal touch yet, I am having fun making it my own!
