I am a little obsessed with bangle bracelets and recently had the bright idea to use my handy wood burning tool to create some unique wooden bangles. While I could have used store bought wood bracelets, I decided to get really creative and use tiny embroidery hoops for my bangles. They are the perfect size for my wrist!
1. I separated the hoop and used the inside piece. 2. Next I used my wood burning tool and burned designs into the surface of the wood.
1. Next I used a variety of wooden beads 2. and burned designs into the surface of each one. 3. I used stretchy cord and strung my beads into a bracelet.
Alisa these bangles and bracelets are wonderful; love them!

I too found your site from a friend. Like you, I like to craft with things "outside the box" of normal materials. Clever thinking on the embroidery hoops. A long time wood burner myself, I'm sure I'll be raiding my embroider supplies soon. lol
