love the color scheme and love that I found out that you sketch with a ball point pen -- I am taking create daily and am loving it -- each day is just what I need -- now on to finishing up the organization/clean up of my work space and then on to ballpoint pen doodle -- lucy is absolutely adorable even during a meltdown :0)
I love them thanks for sharing. You really have found a way to stay creative while being a new mom. I know it is hard I ran a cake decorating business out of my home when my daughter was just a baby and it was crazy. Thank you for keeping me inspired.
Alisa- I love the sketches, and the fact that you keep an hour for you and you're art! It can be really hard to do that when new babies may be so tiring! You rock! I met you last year at Donna Downey's Inspired and you completely amaze me... Thank you for all the inspiration and beautiful art!!
So beautiful. I love seeing your sketches...I swear you should have these should be made into textiles, I would love these prints on my bedroom pillows! Love!
Love your Art! Thank you for inspiring me and the beauty in being able to create for about an hour, feeling with my heart and letting the ink and watercolors flow. ((HUGS)) Lucy is adorable...meltdowns included. :)
This is amazing... I just bought my first sketchbook in September - at age 41!! Yesterday, I bought tube water colours, and today I played with paint, colouring in a sketch I did yesterday.. Freeing, fun, and I'm getting better!
What a fantastic combination, a baby and creative time. I could never do both, have three children but I did not let my own crativity bloom until they were older. You do the right thing, hurray
Everytime I see your work I feel so good inside! I wish I could give myself the freedom to just DO IT! I have so much here but just can't seem to get myself to be as spontaneous as you are. Sigh...
Love the flowers it helpeed perk me up from the winter browns we have here in Nebraska. We went to a movie yesterday and a brave mom brought her 7 week old along with a three and six year old. They were so good. Just the outing all needed. Have fun with your little one and so glad you are finding time for your art.
OMG. You inspire me a lot. I was so depressed for a weeks and when i discovered your blog, something in my soul woke up. Congratulations for your family, it's so lovely. I follow you on twetter.

your artwork is AMAZING! have you thought about contacting a fabric manufacturer and get it translated to fabric! if you did, I would SO buy it (I love to sew!) found your amazing blog on Pinterest today. your Lucy is ADORABLE btw
So amazing, its so professional. i think you made your exhibition trust me its a best idea, because its not easy to use water colors like this.Too good!Keep updating.
Your sketch book look so nice and colorful i like most the color combination you put in your sketch book although your drawing was also good but every one can draw like this but its difficult to color so neatly.
I remember that i saw your sketch book before on some other site but anyway your sketch book looking so fantastic colors are very bright and you know i also like these type of bright colors.
Like before this time you also work very well and gave some new and fantastic paintings in your sketch book.I think that you have the ability to work very well by water color.
So amazingly gorgeous as usual! I wish I had any watercolor ability, but unfortunately I do not. Maybe I should start a sketchbook for the new year!
