Oh she is just a darling!!! I always tell moms they are going to love their baby's like nothing else on earth and they smile... but they don't know yet!!! Often they come back and tell me about that achey break love - it's so HUGE!!! Nothing beats that love!!!
What a sweetie, so glad you are sharing her with us. It will be delightful to watch her growing up. A little melt down now and then is very acceptable! Have a wonderful day
Babies are like the closes thing to angels on earth. Man that makes me wish my three were little again. Enjoy! It gets a little easier as they get a little older. It is a lot a work, but a joy! She is adorable!
Such a beautiful baby! My newest addition (who is now 1) had reflux for the first 8 months of her life, it is very difficult to deal with but they eventually "grow out of it" :) good luck with everything!
WOW--this post begins my day with warmth and an anticipation of all things good!!! Lovely pictures, they put me in the "creating" mood, so of I go!! Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays to you and yours. Pam
"OH look at that crying baby!" says my Emma."Who is she?" "That is ALISA's baby LUCY," I say. "OUR ART TEACHER?"..Emma "Yep." Merry Christmas! Laura Jane and Kiddos
Seriously cute baby !! those eyes are so big and beautiful. I know you have your days when things get on top of you but just looking at her will lift your spirits xx
I could check everything on your list! But all of these would be a sweet memory one day (they are for me since my son is 6, my daughter will turn 12 on Valentine's)and you will reminisce them with pleasure! And yes- she's adorable! And those cheeks cannot go by unkissed :)
Awwww. My daughter is 1 month on Wednesday and you can literally see her grow day after day. It goes so fast and I have to keep reminding myself to take photos!
Lucy is so cute. how lucky that she sleeps through the night. don't stress out, you guys are doing a great job. you love her deeply and the rest will just fall into place. enjoy the holidays.
I agree that it is very hard to work at home with a little one. And meltdowns are common for mom's. I still have them and my oldest is 8 :) Don't sweat it....
what a sweet girl!! both of my boys had reflux... who are now 2yrs and 10 mos and the best thing for them was real ppl food! so i started them both on rice cereal at 2.5 mos then onto fruits, veggies and then meat by like 5-6 mos... i exclusively breastfed too, and if all else fails both of mine totally grew out of it by 8 mos...
and dont you "hate" those mom with peaceful non reflux babies who never cry haha... jk, kind of :)
beautiful baby girl - my daughter had triplets in July and the boy had reflux - slowly growing out of it, but there were some real tense times - the two girls were not affected. My daughter is now awaiting that teething time.....
She is beautiful, the best art you have ever created. Yes, reflux is not fun for her or you, it will pass but its h-- until it does. She is so going to have your hubby wrapped around her finger. Good luck and thanks for sharing this sunny beautiful post. Peggy
Oh honey I feel for you. We had twins with reflex and were delirious the first three months. She is so chubby and healthy though that you must know you are on the right track. They are so addictive those babies. Reflux never happened again for us. We now have five!
Such a cute bear outfit! Love it! And I couldn't agree more with any of your statements: all so, so true :) And that last photo of Lucy and you is so lovely... You have a lovely family indeed, Alisa :)
Beautiful baby, beautiful sentiments, beautiful honesty. My 27-year-old "baby" just came home for the holidays and we were talking about the early days. Someday you'll be doing that with Lucy!
