One of my favorite fall treats are spice cookies and my favorite recipe is an easy one that I've put my own little twist on (a pinch of ingredients here and there). I LOVE these cookies and could eat dozens of them (and actually have in the last few week!)
In a bowl, mix together all dry ingredients
Using a mixer, beat egg, molasses and butter into the dry ingredients until combined and a dough forms.
Roll dough into little balls, sprinkle with sugar and line on a baking sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-15 minutes
Oh yum!
ReplyDeleteI have to make me some of these!

ReplyDeleteI just saw that you had your baby! I usually read your blog every single day at least once even if I've already read it :) It's been a busy month evidentially because I missed the big day! I wanted to tell you congratulations, she is a beauty! And, looove the name--I have a Lucy too, only she is 10 yrs old and now she is my art buddy :) It gets better and better--yet sometimes I wish I could go back in time. Enjoy every second of these baby days--Congrats!!

Thank you for the recipe. Do you know--does the dough freeze well? Also, recipe says "roll dough into small balls"--should balls be about an inch?
ReplyDeleteThank you!
You know, ever since you posted this, it's been one of our go-to recipes. We made adjustments to fit a gluten and dairy free diet, and it's become one of my husband's best recipes. Thank you so much for this. You are with us often this way!!!
