That first photo makes me think of the floor of Jackson Pollock's studio in East Hampton, NY. I took a workshop there this summer which included a tour of his studio - and, after you put on soft, foam slippers - you actually walk on the floor where he painted most of the works we know!
Let's see... which picture do I love the best? This one and this one and this one and this one and obviously I love them all! I'm partial, though, to your blue leaves. An idea I may have to appropriate as I'm working on changing my world.
