I started the morning with thoughts of creating, lots of sewing and things to make.
It was 90+ degrees, humid and sunny when I got up but I walked to my early morning yoga class and enjoyed a good hour of stretching. When I got home I was happy to enter the air conditioning, made a cup of coffee and peeked into my teenage son's room. We sat on his bed and talked. I love this kind of summer morning. I'm warm on the inside and out! I can't wait to check out the shop... CONGRATS!

This morning started with coffee, peanut butter toast, and a sliced up peach. Then I walked 15 minutes in the blazing heat & humidity to deliver a package, and by the time i got home i was as dripping wet as when i got out of the shower 2 hours earlier. Yuck!

Then washed my face, prepared a cuppa, and took my two fur babies outside for their morning romp! Picked a couple of fresh tomatoes. Then had to give both the fur babies a vinegar bath since they decided to attack a skunk as a tag team....UGH! Still smell it...oh well!

ReplyDeleteI started this morning waking up at the house of my someday-parents-in-law in the room my boyfriend used to live as a child. Sadly he was not there since he's in Norway at the moment.

Congratulations! I can't wait to take a look at the new store. This morning I woke up to my husband working out on the Wii. I on the other hand poured myself a tall mocha/coffee drink to get me going!
ReplyDeleteI started my morning sluggishly with a summer cold (what a drag). However, I cleared my work table so that I can play with glue/paint/paper, etc...! I also did a goofy (low on technique, high on fun) sketch in my "SketchBook Delight" book!

ReplyDeleteI started this morning (after a cup of tea) with the finishing of the little vest I started in a felting workshop (with Pam de Groot from Australia) It didn't go very well in the beginning but I didn't want to give up on it...!!!
I started my morning by calling to UPS to check what time my package would be delivered. Turned out that I was calling day early :D
