Yes, yes, yes. And I guess in it's own way, everything is art. If you ice a cake nicely, that is art. If you set up a pretty display in your house, that is art. If you write a poem, that is art.
I totally agree with your statement! My daughter and I create art daily in whatever form- paper, fabric, yarn, spoken word, music or dance. It keeps us alive and thriving.
So true. I've been struggling lately to complete some mundane, must-do tasks that are not creatively fulfilling...but I'm relieved I've finished them and that I can go back to my typical routine and create what I feel like creating, instead of what I feel I "have to" do.
I agree with all of these comments, especially Jenny's about wanting to get the chores out of the way to free up time for creativity. That's the great thing about art; it's not about keeping the status quo, but about moving forward.
