I love pancakes. Especially big fat buttermilk or yogurt pancakes with butter and powdered sugar. :-)
My brother would say that waffles beat pancakes ten to one, but then he's been trying to convert everyone to the Religion of Waffle-ites for the last month or so. (I think it's filling the squares with syrup that he loves.)
Waffles have their place in the breakfast world, but there's something so much more personal about a pancake!
i was so scared of pancakes before i made this recipe! nothing will ever be as good as the pancakes at Black Bear Diner, though... HEY, you're in cali, where there are Black Bear Diners! go get some!!!
Now that looks like a yummy pancake! I made some this weekend as well... only I like to put chocolate chips in mine and use powdered sugar instead of syrup. Yummy.
