Yesterday I taught my larger than life painting class and as usual we had a BLAST! Everyone was crawling around on the ground, painting big and making a huge mess!! So much fun- here is a peek at some student work...
Looks so much fun! I have to say I am *really* getting the painting bug and am feeling the urge to paint something really big! Very tempted to take your Graffiti Chic part 2 class, but there are some others that I want to do too o_O Too many excellent choices!!
What a wonderful place this must have been! I took a figure painting class years ago in N. California and we had to paint on nothing smaller than a full sheet of watercolor paper and use nothing smaller than a half inch. It was scary and freeing at the same time. I've never painted that big since. Might need to try that again!
That looks like fun! I might spread out a big piece of canvas on the floor and have some fun on it.
I had a thought when I saw that first pic -- what does the hotel say about paint on the carpet? I always wondered this, being a former convention board member. ;)
I had such an amazing time. I am so glad that I met you in person... The internet can not express what a delight you truly are. Thank you for helping me to paint large!
Not only fun but you got great results! I wonder if you'd mind telling what the fabric was that you used as your base? It would have to be thin enough to do the free motion stitching on..looks like linen.
I wish I could have been there!
ReplyDeletelooks like fun!
