One more post to share from the CREATE retreat and it is from my class- Doodled Surface Design. While this was only a 3 hour class I was blown away by all of the creativity from everyone in the class. Here is a peek at student work...

  4. These doodles inspire me to let go of my inhibitions and my "no-way-I-can't-draw attitudes when working in my art journal!

  5. I started to doodle too, because it's a good way to stay concentrated during boring meetings ;)
When i went to school - a long long time ago - i also used to do that ;).
Now I bought myself a good sketchbook and made a cover for it so that it wouldn't get harmed in my bag : http://mooisvanme.blogspot.com/2011/05/ditjes-en-datjes.html
That way i hope to stay tuned at meetings and make funny things the same time :)

I like those examples from your students ! It makes me eager for the next meeting , would you believe that ???

  10. Your sketches are always so beautiful. The colors you choose are so stunning, as are the patterns. So beautiful.

  11. Your doodles would make nice wrapping paper or print for fabric.
