While in Oregon, I have been "downloading" inspiration, ideas, sites and findings into my sketchbook. Such a perfect way to hold onto moments, memories and inspiration :)
I have to say that you are inspiring me to actually get busy on my sketchbooks..I seem to forget to do them and I have many started and never filled!!! Lovely drawings and colors
Beautiful sketches of wonderful specimens ... Lucky girl you are to be able to visit the ocean now ... I am so very jealous ... and can not wait to see the ocean again ... Love your blog !
Wonderful colors and variety. I love to pick up all those things when I'm beach walking. Is your journal one with regular sketching paper or is it watercolor paper?
Thanks so much for including these pics on your blog! I always enjoy taking a look at other artists' work, and learning about their creative processes. Because I don't know any mixed-media artists in my area, I never have an opportunity to do this in person.
Love! It's so great to see in people's sketchbooks. And you clearly take time with yours...mostly mine are filled with black and white drawings and never ending to-do lists!
When I saw the picture in the thumbnail I was so hoping this was fabric. Nope, but it sure would make beautiful fabric. I was envisioning it as a tablecloth with set of matching napkins. Gorgeous, really. Work on that fabric thing, will you?
The colours are stunning! They look earthy but still vivid. Lovely sketches.
