you see, grey vdays can be beautiful too ! Thanks for all those nice pics ! Here the sun is shining for a few days now - a bit early this year but I love it ! It's the last day however, so i will try to find the beauty in the coming grey days like you did ;)
I love the way you pput the paint samples under the photos--makes me look at them in an entirely different way. My son lives in Oregon and loves it there.
I grew up on the right side of Oregon where we had sun more than not. Now that I'm on the left side, I find I the sunny days are like a gift that can't be ignored. Lovely photos....
Oh my....your photos bring back such great memories! I was born in Salem and lived in Lincoln City for a short while. I truly miss those gray rainy days!
Just back from Siesta Key, Florida. The beach there is rated one of the most beautiful in the world. Although we did enjoy the white sand and sunshine, I kept thinking that there's no way it rivals a place like Cannon's Beach and others in Oregon, even on a cloudy day. Your photos confirmed it for me! Also, LOVE the treasures you find on the coast, exactly the things I treasure as well (gifts from nature).
Through these pics I can see you truly love your place... It is beautiful in fact! And I love cold gray days, so perfect for a yummy cup of coffee and a favorite crafting project :)
Hello once again! I just wanted to let you know I used one of your photos in my "inspiring images" post today! Here is the link if you'd like to see: http://yellowbirdyellowbeard.blogspot.com/2011/04/motley-crew.html. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my gosh, it's sooo beautiful!! I want to come to Oregon so bad!! On my bucket list for sure!
ReplyDeleteThat's absolutely breathtaking. You are so lucky to live there.
ReplyDeleteI like how you use the 'swatches of color' next to your photos. It makes you think about how the colors go together
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors!!
ReplyDeleteI like the swatches too. I've always wondered how you make them. Would you consider a future tute on making colour swatches from reference pictures?
ReplyDeleteThank you for finding beauty in a grey day and making it a gift for us.
