What fun! My daughter Jules did a project like this for photography class and had such a good time. I was sneaky and saved all her pictures on my ipad ... they make me smile every time they pop up in my last 12 months photo stream.
HI Alisa I've just signed up for your sketching class. Sent you an email earlier about a request for a resend of the invite to the class blog. Thanks!!
i love these imaginative scenes you create. i use to love to make little homes and environments for toys when i was young and now you have shown me that i still can. and should!
Ditto question about what paints you use - want to get some for working with the kids I work with. Love the playfulness of your work. Thanks for fun inspiration!
Your blog is such an inspiration. I am not as talented as you but love to create. I did not study art in college. Your sketchbooks are amazing and I am imitating your techniques. Learning from your great posts.
I love your awesome photos and amazing recipes, too.
I really love your artwork! I was wondering what type of watercolor brush that is?
I am trying to get into painting, I usually use pencil or charcoal, I would really appreciate it if you could check out some of my work and gave me some tips on how to improve my technique.

I'm sure you have been asked this but... where do you get your watercolor set? The colors are great and the pans look smaller. Do you know the brand?
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your sketching. It inspires me to use more watercolor in my art journals.
Also itching to know what kind of paint this is!
