Wow! Simply amazing. Thank you so much for this inspiring video. One day, I swear one day I am going to dig out my shells from Seaside and try watercolor. Maybe tomorrow?
I LOVED the video! It was so helpful for me and me a lot about using watercolors, combining watercolors with other mediums, and creating a sketchbook page. Before watching your video, I never knew how to use watercolors. My pages always ended up falling apart with all the water, and I thought I had to wait forever for one color to dry before adding others. I'm not patient, so I've always preferred acrylics. However, you inspired me!
I am new to your blog and I am lovin' the inspiration. Today I learned a couple of techniques I will try next time I pull out my watercolors....which might have to be soon! Thanks.
Thanks so much for the video, it has inspired me to get my shells out and sketch them. I have loved seeing your process and the many layers that make up the final page. Much appreciated Lee:)
Wow, thanks for sharing that! It makes it seem so much more accessible! I guess I always just assume that drawing/painting is a one-shot deal, and if it doesn't look "right" immediately, then I must be a complete failure. It's good to know that's not the case!! Back to the sketchbook for me... :)
Hi Alisa -- thank you so much for the video. I hope you read this comment because i have a question. What is the tool you are using to paint on your watercolors? It looks like a brush - marker combo that you refill?
This is great! I'm an artist at heart. And a perfectionist. And really pretty insecure about my art. I've never been able to really keep a sketch book because the combination above is not necessarily conducive to quick sketching. But I think I'll try again. You're inspiring. Thanks.
you are a busy girl!! I like this very much
