Are you with us on the East Coast? We've been to that museum soooo many times - and the kidlets are always dragging me back to see the giant squid. Amazing place - enjoy - and dress warmly!
I love going to the museum. As a child I was one of those boys that I loved dinosaurs so much that when I saw the huge dinosaur made up of the bones at the local museum I almost cried at how magnificent it was. Thanks for posting. Looks like you had fun.
Thank you, Alisa! I am a museum lover to the nth degree. I leisurely wandered through this post as I would the floors of that great building. Your pics, so vivid and clear, enabled me to call on my other senses and recall smells and sounds. Feel like I was there! ~KIM
My five-year-old son and I went to the SD Nat History Museum a while back for their dinosaur exhibit and loved it.
He's going there again on a field trip this Friday ... and can't wait! Lovely pictures!
When I took him, I gave him a cheap disposable camera and told him to go at it! We had so much fun with that ... until we got bust for taking pictures in the dino exhibit ;-)
