The last couple of days have been a MARATHON of teaching here in Houston at the Quilt Festival. While I am exhausted, I am so inspired by the messy, wild and creative women that were willing to "give in" to process, let loose and have FUN!!
This looks so amazing. How I would have loved to take this class! I went to grad school for creative writing (an MFA program), but I've always been curious about visual art as well, especially art that mixes media. I love these posts.
how do you sew "messy"? lift the presser foot? how do you sew the flowers so well? do you move the fabric yourself or do you have a fancy machine? I am attempting some ideas you have posted with my own twist and am currently more frustrated than happy with my results...
Looks like it was an absolutely fabulous class! I so wanted to participate and especially meet you, but the class was full by the time I found out about it. I love your work, creative process and all your groovy creations! I will take an online class since I missed you this time!! Love & God Bless! Pat, A Remade Life
These pictures are incredible! I wish I could have taken the class, it looks like it would have been so much fun. Hopefully sometime in the future our paths will cross and I'll get to work with you.
