What did I do this weekend with this giant colorful canvas painting that I spent hours creating?
I ripped it up and handed out the pieces to everyone who attended my lecture and demo at the local library.
It is the best way to share my creative philosophy when it comes to art...
To challenge others to think outside the box...
and the easiest way to demonstrate what it means to redefine creativity!
Don't be afraid to do something a little crazy!
I love this! What creativity. I need to read your blog constantly. I've always been a good artist, but buttoned up, if you know what I mean. Thinking outside of the box is my goal and I must admit is getting a little easier with age. :) Thanks for the post.

ReplyDeleteMy thinking outside the box this week took me outside - I was attempting paint splats on a rather angry art journal page and it simply wasn't working so hubby pointed me outside - it's amazing how messy I can get without redecorating the house LOL.

ReplyDeleteWow I love your sense of reckless abandon! In the end I think the smaller torn apart pieces are even more beautiful and intriguing than the piece as a whole. Makes you think about the missing elements and wonder what they could of been!
