I cannot tell you how EXCITED I am for the new Alice in Wonderland movie which comes out this Friday- in my opinion we need more imagination and magic in our daily lives and I am pretty sure this movie is going to be colorful and creative entertainment! To celebrate I am throwing my own whimsical tea party to get in the mood, complete with hats, creatures and whimsical cheer! Yep, it is official, I have made the leap into total creative insanity over here with my camera, sketchbook and photoshop- but it sure is fun- I totally recommend it!
"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"
-Alice in Wonderland
Mad hatter party hats are a must have!
Make an easy hat from a recycled paper bag.
Simply roll up the end to create a brim.
Shape to you head.
Paint with lots of color, add flowers, buttons, beads and bows!
Tea cups, lots of them!
Pull all your tea cups and mugs out and stack them in creative towers around the table!
Cupcakes- or if you are like me and somehow you lost your cupcake pan- chunks of cake smeared in frosting and piled high also works!
This is fantastic!
