I take video and photos of just about everything and lately I have decided to start sharing more of those videos of my process and all kinds of other creative things. This week is another fun little preview from the next lesson in my Graffiti Chic Part II class so if you are not able to participate here is a sneak peak - this week is all about working with BIG drawings, doodles and lettering. During this week's preparation and filming- my studio wall was painted over and over and over and over again :)
I LOVE it! Can't wait for the next lesson!!! I felt like I was Alice in Wonderland watching! I love the music too!!!
ReplyDeleteAlisa you always have such brilliant artwork!!!
ReplyDeleteHow could you paint over such brilliant work. The first piece was fabulous and then the tree was great too but now they're gone. You are a TRUE artist and paint for yourself and not just to please others.
ReplyDeleteit's great to see you at work!
ReplyDeletebut why paint over that beautiful tree???? hahha
have a creativ weekend!
You got me... I miss painting messy with you. I'm joining the class:)

ReplyDeletewatching your video and how you painted over the tree helped me realize to be more free. also to have the confidence to paint over work because i know i can do it again. enjoying your videos.
ReplyDeleteAbsolultely inspiring. I love your style.
ReplyDeletehahaha LOVED it!! but also a bit heartbreaking to watch you paint over your beautiful work at the same time. Aw!
ReplyDeleteI'm with everyone else. That tree was so beautiful. I would love to know what else is under that wall. Question: What are you using as a brush? From what I could see, it looked like a very small thing with no handle. Do you cut them down? I'm hoping to take your first class as soon as I can free up the time to devote to it. I love your style and the freedom your art pictures.
ReplyDeleteLove it, can't wait until Monday to see our next lessons. I have my large large canvas almost finished. What fun, thanks. Peggy
ReplyDeleteAlisa:

ReplyDeleteSo much fun to watch you work your magic!!! Beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great lesson in "letting go". Becoming too attached to any creation can stifle the creative edge. You got it girl!
