I know this is going to sound wrong, but I'm an old lady... Are you part Russian? I know you have childhood ties to OR, and they have some Russian influences there. Your sketches always seem to be very patterned like Russian art. Just curious. I do love it. (Love seeing the baby. So cute!) Hugs!
Beautiful! I could just see some of these on fine ceramics....and me drinking tea out of one of the cups LOL! One or two designs I can also visualise on silk, maybe the Kaftan with tassled hood I've always dreamt of owning/wearing! Loving the designs!
Yes, they would be lovely as yardage. They are beautiful. I especially like the turquoise and green leaves and vines. and now tat I've read the other comments I see they do have a bit of an ethnic flair.
everytime i come and visit i always think the same thing "i wish i could do that kinda stuff... i should get myself a sketch book!" Still haven't done it either lol!
