I am at home on the Oregon Coast and what a shock (but no surprise) I went from 78 degrees by the pool in my bikini to 40 degrees, bundled up on the coast with sun, rain, hail and more sun! I am happy to be home and as much as I love sunny Southern California- my heart is happiest here :)
Beautiful photographs...but such a shock to go from hot/bikini weather to 40 degrees!
ReplyDeleteSigh.. the Oregon coast is the most beautiful place on Earth. I think we all long for home... even if it means putting on a parka to go to the beach. ;)
ReplyDeleteI long for the Oregon coast....the most beautiful place I've ever been. Thanks for sharing your photos!
ReplyDeleteI long for my home watching you being at home... Good to have that place...
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely photos of our coast. Thank you for sharing. Typical "spring" weather here: expecting possible snow tomorrow in Eagle Point.
ReplyDeleteBut the summers get as hot as your So. Cal weather so the diversity is refreshing.
Love these photos! I learn so much from studying the way they are composed, at such unique angles and heights! I can identify with your feelings about your home state...I've always lived in Wisconsin, and even though I despise the long winters more and more every year, I could never permanently relocate b/c it's my home, plain and simple...and the people I love are here.
ReplyDeleteand here I thought you were a SoCal girl
ReplyDeletethat second picture made me gasp! So so beautiful.
